Round 2: It will be an offline round. Top 20 teams will be shortlisted
- Live pitch before judges
- Prototype demonstration

All that you need to know about IIC Shark Tank
IIC Shark Tank is a flagship startup pitching competition scheduled for 9th April 2026 at JCBUST, YMCA, Faridabad, as part of CULMYCA’26.
Inspired by the Shark Tank format, the event offers a dynamic platform for innovators to present prototype-driven startup ideas before a panel of evaluators in a structured and competitive setting.
Participants are evaluated not just on the strength of their idea, but on their ability to validate, execute, and communicate a real-world solution. The competition emphasizes impactful, scalable, and practical innovations supported by working prototypes, encouraging a strong culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the campus ecosystem.
Why Participate?

Guidelines:
Eligibility:
- Open to all students (any college, any discipline).
- Participation allowed in teams of 2-4 members.
- Inter-college and cross-domain teams are encouraged.
Mandatory Requirement:
- A functional prototype/working model is compulsory.
- Teams must clearly demonstrate the feasibility and usability of their solution.
Competition Structure:
Round 1: Online Screening Teams will be shortlisted based on their idea submission.
Round 2: Offline Final Pitch:
- The top20 teams will be shortlisted
- Live pitch before judges
- Prototype demonstration
- Followed by a Q&A round.
Guidelines:
- All shortlisted teams must be present for the offline round
- Teams must carry their own prototype, laptop, and required materials.
- Presentation format and time limits must be strictly followed.
- Team members cannot be changed after registration
- Any form of plagiarism or unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification
- The judges' decision will be final and binding.

About Organisers:
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) is an initiative focused on building a strong culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship within the campus. It serves as a platform where students can explore ideas, work on real-world problems, and transform concepts into impactful solutions.
Through regular activities such as workshops, hackathons, mentoring sessions, and startup-oriented events, IIC encourages students to think beyond academics and develop practical, execution-driven skills. The council aims to bridge the gap between ideas and implementation by supporting prototype development, validation, and entrepreneurial growth.
