All that you need to know about Slide Geeks!- Slide Deck Designing Competition
This PowerPoint Presentation Competition is for all the slide geeks out there to try out their skills in creating presentations. The participants can choose any of the 21 st century skills in the Decade of Action. The 21st-century skills ensure that students strive in a world where change is constant and learning never stops. PowerPoint presentations are one of the best tools for communicating and informing in a series of slides. In this competition, the participants should design and present a presentation on the above-mentioned topic. This contest is open to all high school and college students, providing an opportunity to showcase the talent in creating PowerPoint presentations as well as the chance of winning exciting prizes.
Judging Criteria – Linking the 21st Century Skills:
- Creativity – The slide deck presented should have usage of creative elements to emphasize the idea
- Critical thinking – Critically analyze and present the topic selected
- Communication – Effectively communicate through the video recording
- Collaboration – The presentation should have a slide talking about potential partnerships with different stakeholders to address an issue/ solve a problem/ bringing innovation
Prizes:
- Micro scholarship of USD 100 each to the winners
- Stand a chance to win Amazon voucher worth $13 USD
- Paid internship opportunities
- GlobalShala merchandise
- Badges
Guidelines:
- Participants can either select one aspect of the 21st-century skills or they can create a PPT on the whole 21st century skills
- The presentation should include a minimum of 5 slides and a maximum of 10 slides (excluding welcome and thank you)
- References must be clearly mentioned in a supporting document at the last slide
- Plagiarized submissions will be disqualified
An entry will be accepted only if the participant uploads the following:
- A presentation on the selected topic (.pptx or .pdf)
- A video explaining the topic not exceeding 5 minutes
- Audio can be added in the slides for explanation

1) Is the registration free?
- Yes, it is absolutely free.
2) Are there any restrictions regarding language?
- Yes, it should be written in English.
3) Who can participate in this competition?
- This competition is open to all high school and college students.
4) Is there a limit to the slides?
- The presentation should have a minimum of 5 slides and a maximum of 10 slides. (Excluding welcome and thank you)
5) What are your formatting requirements?
- We suggest you select a font that is easy to read, preferably, 12-point type size and any standard formatting styles.
6) What if I would like to edit or exchange an entry that I have already submitted?
- Edits must be done before entering. Once your entry has been submitted, we will not accept any other replacements.
