Slogan Writing Competition: Stages and Timelines
Submission Round (via Unstop):
- Participants submit their slogans through Unstop.
- A panel of sustainability and marketing experts will review the submissions in the evaluation round.
- Top 7 slogans will be shortlisted.
Voting Round:
This will be a voting round for the top 7 finalists from the previous submission round. Which will be hosted on our Instagram handle (@liquidtrees_org)

About:
- Liquid Trees is hosting a Slogan Writing Competition to promote awareness of sustainable technologies and river bioremediation.
- Eligibility: Open to all, including students, professionals, and enthusiasts interested in sustainability and environmental issues.
- Team Composition: Only individual entries are allowed.
- Problem Statement: Design a slogan for a sustainability campaign under the theme of using microalgal technology for environmental sustainability. The slogan should be impactful, relatable, and actionable.
Format and Submission:
- Submit a slogan focused on the themes of "Water, Climate, Sustainability".
- Slogan length should not exceed 40 words.
- Duration: Submissions are open from 22nd May until the deadline of 30th May 2024, 11:59 PM IST.
Rounds:
- Initial Submission: Participants submit their slogans through Unstop.
- Evaluation Round: A panel of sustainability and marketing experts will review the submissions and shortlist the top 7 slogans.
- Final Round: Public voting and expert review will determine the top 3 slogans.
Rules:
- All entries must be original and unpublished.
- Slogans must be relevant to sustainability, river bioremediation, and environmental impact.
- Use of offensive or inappropriate language is prohibited.
- Plagiarism will result in disqualification.
- Each participant can submit only one entry.
Prizes:
- Top 3 Winners: Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) and a feature on Liquid Trees’ platforms.
- Top 7 Finalists: Certificate of Merit and a feature on Liquid Trees’ platforms.

About Liquid Trees
Liquid Trees' mission is to neutralize pollution by capturing pollutants like fertilizers, heavy metals, microplastics and CO2 through increasing the growth of microscopic silica algae (diatoms) in open water bodies
With the campaign "Keeping the Planet cool with Diatoms" we are trying to raise awareness about Diatom potential in CO2 removal. We are in the process of removing 10GtCO2 by accelerating the growth of native diatoms in polluted open water systems.
