Sustainathon'26: Stages and Timelines

Round 1

General assessment round : Online Screening Quiz – Sustainathon’26

The preliminary round of SUSTAINATHON’26 will be conducted as an online quiz designed to assess participants’ understanding of sustainability, social entrepreneurship, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The quiz will consist of multiple-choice questions covering areas such as:

  • Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Sustainability and environmental concepts
  • Social entrepreneurship and impact-driven ventures
  • Sustainable business models and circular economy
  • Global sustainability initiatives and climate action

Based on their performance in this round, top-performing teams will be shortlisted to participate in the offline rounds of SUSTAINATHON’26, to be held at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus.

Participants are encouraged to rely on their knowledge, analytical thinking, and awareness of sustainability-related topics.

Sustainathon’25:

Sustainathon’25 is an inter-university sustainability and social entrepreneurship challenge organised by ENACTUS Christ at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus.

The competition invites ENACTUS teams from various universities to ideate, design, and present innovative business models aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through a structured three-round format, participants will integrate multiple SDGs into a cohesive, viable, and impact-driven business solution under real-world, time-bound constraints.

The event aims to promote sustainability-driven entrepreneurship, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical problem-solving while encouraging measurable social impact through responsible business innovation.

Opportunity Description:

Eligibility:

  • Open exclusively to registered ENACTUS teams from recognized universities.
  • Participation is team-based.
  • All participants must adhere to academic integrity guidelines.
  • Teams qualifying Round 1 must be available for offline participation at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus.

Competition Structure & Format:

Round 1: Preliminary Online Quiz (Screening Round) – Online (Unstop):

  • Conducted on the Unstop platform.
  • Open to all registered teams.
  • Tests knowledge of sustainability, entrepreneurship, and the UN SDGs.
  • Top-performing teams will be shortlisted for offline rounds.
  • REGISTRATION FEE: Rs.200/team if team qualifies in this round.

Round 2: Ice-Breaking & Ideation Round – Offline:

  • Following this, teams will randomly select three SDGs and must integrate them into a single original business model.

Round 3: Business Plan Development & Presentation – Offline:

  • Teams will prepare a structured business presentation within the allotted time (adjusted based on Round 2 performance).
  • Teams will present before a panel of judges.

Rules & Academic Integrity:

  • Use of ChatGPT or any AI-based tools for idea generation or presentation structuring is strictly prohibited.
  • The competition emphasizes originality, independent thinking, and analytical reasoning.
  • Teams must strictly adhere to time limits.
  • No extensions will be granted.
  • All ideas must be original and developed during the competition.

  • Mode: Offline (Rounds 2 & 3)
  • Venue: Conference Hall, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus
  • Registrations: Through Unstop
  • Date: To be finalized

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Creativity and originality
  • Market feasibility and practical viability
  • Effective integration of selected SDGs
  • Sustainability and measurable long-term impact
  • Clarity of execution and structured problem-solving approach
  • All participants will receive an official Certificate of Participation from ENACTUS Christ, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus.
  • Winners and runner-ups will receive Certificates of Achievement along with exciting prizes and recognition.
