Tank Shark

Tank Shark is designed to transform the traditional entrepreneur-to-investor pitch dynamic. In this game, the students take on the role of investors. Equipped with a fictional currency as their ticket size, participants watch pre-recorded pitches from existing companies, ranging from famous to less known. Their task is to decide the valuation on which they would invest in a particular company based on the pitch content. Points are awarded to participants based on how accurately their valuation aligns with the actual valuation received by the company after the pitch. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• The Tank Shark competition is open to students from all institutions across India.
• Whether you're an undergraduate or a postgraduate student, you are eligible to participate.

Format:

• This part of the competition will take place at the SIBM, Pune campus.
• Participants will be introduced to the competition, choose their ticket size (fictional currency), and watch a series of pre-recorded pitches.
• After the video is over, they will be allotted a set time frame within which they must make investment decisions for each company and submit the valuation on which they would invest based on the pitch.
• Participants will be judged based on the accuracy of their valuation compared to the actual valuation received by the company after the pitch and the portfolio of the companies they have invested in.
• The participant with the highest total points at the end of the event will be declared the winner.
