The Boardroom Drama - An Innovative and Dramatic case Competition: Stages and Timelines
Submission Round (via Unstop)
The Dramatics Club of IIM Kashipur "Parwaaz" brings you the case-based group play competition. The event comprises only one round, i.e., the video submission round. The teams need to submit the video of an act prepared on the situation/case provided by us upon registration. Participating teams need to go through all the guidelines before the video submissions. Teams would be judged on their coordination and good humour. So, wear your creativity hats and get down to work!
All that you need to know about The Boardroom Drama - An Innovative and Dramatic case Competition
Rules-
- All teams must mandatorily comprise only a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 5 members
- The teams will be provided a short story/situation on which the teams will have to prepare an act and submit a video of the same
- The teams are free to use meeting apps like Zoom or Google Meet for the video preparation if the members of the team do not reside in the same place
- The teams are free to tweak the situation according to the demand of the script
- Teams should ensure the plot of the situation remains intact
- The maximum time limit for the video would be 3 minutes
- The actors can use props and background music for their acts
- There is no restriction on language. If any small section uses some other language other than Hindi/English, then please add a subtitle for that
- Usage of direct obscenities, vulgar actions, and language, and inappropriate gestures will lead to immediate disqualification
- The judge's decision will be final
Judgment Criteria:
- Acting prowess of individual members
- Group chemistry and coordination between the characters
- The creativity of the script prepared
- Creativity with respect to bringing new characters or elements
- Adhering to the time limit of the video
- The laughter quotient of the viewers and the judges
- The decision of the judges and the organizers will be final
