Dive into the thrill of Robo Rumble, an adrenaline-charged All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Robotics Challenge! Participants must design and build a robust robot capable of navigating a challenging obstacle course filled with bridges, mud pits, uneven terrain, and potholes. This competition pushes engineering creativity and technical skills to overcome real-world challenges.

Theme: All-Terrain Robotics Challenge
Format: Obstacle Course Time-Trial
Task:
- Construct a remote-controlled robot to complete a rugged obstacle course in the shortest time.
- Obstacles include bridges, mud pits, potholes, inclined slopes, and rock gardens.
Arena:
- Dimensions: 30m x 10m
- Obstacles:
- Bridges: Narrow, elevated pathways
- Mud Pits: Slippery, traction-testing zones
- Potholes: Uneven ground simulating rough terrain
- Inclined Slopes: Up to 30° angles
- Rock Gardens: Loose stones requiring balance
Judging Criteria
- Completion Time: Fastest course completion wins
- Obstacle Navigation: Smooth and effective handling of obstacles
- Penalty Avoidance: Fewer penalties result in a better score
- Bonus Points: Awarded for completing all obstacles without failure
Rules
- Team Size: Maximum of 5 participants
- Robot Dimensions: 30 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm (max weight 5 kg)
- Control: Wireless with at least a 15m range and manual override
- Power Limit: Max 24V DC, sealed leak-proof batteries only

About National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur
National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur,earlier known as Regional Institute of Technology was set up on fifteenth August 1960 as a joint endeavor of Government of India and the Government of Bihar in the chain of REC's (Regional Engineering College) in India with the expect to create specialized alumni of best expectations who could give mechanical initiative to the locale. It was among the initial eight Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) built up as a major aspect of the Second Five-Year Plan (1956 - 1961). This was the main REC in the nation which was named as RIT (Regional Institute of Technology). In this way RIT Jamshedpur was really the REC of unified Bihar and Jharkhand. On 15 August 2007, NIT Jamshedpur was given the status of the Institute of National Importance through an Act of the Parliament known as the NIT Act.
The Institute has 12 divisions including building, science and humanities. The Institute, with 200 workforce, 4000 understudies, 150 managerial and supporting staff, is an independent grounds.
