TVS Credit E.P.I.C 7.0 — IT Challenge

TVS Credit presents E.P.I.C (Enrich, Perform, Innovate, Challenge) a campus challenge programme designed for college students.

This contest offers you a platform to apply your technical knowledge and skills to real-life business problems. Through your participation, you stand the chance to network with the best minds in the industry, hone your skills through the challenges, and to top it all, win exciting cash rewards.

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Tech/B.E students from 3rd and 4th year, M.E./M.Tech students and MBA (IT) students are eligible to participate.
• The participants should be full-time students of the same college.
• The participants could either register individually or as a team of two.
• One person can’t be a member of more than one team.

Team Formulation Guidelines:

• Each team must choose a name for their team.
• It is the team leader’s responsibility to ensure that all the team members are eligible to participate in the contest.
• Violation of the eligibility criteria or team constitution will automatically disqualify the team.
• TVS Credit reserves the right to check the validity of the registration information submitted at any point in time.
• Modification of team members post-registration will not be allowed.
• Cross-college teams are not allowed.

Stages:

Round 1: Assessment

• All eligible teams (except the top 15 teams from the Treasure Hunt) must participate in this two-part assessment round. The window for the assessment will remain open for 8 hours, during which the Team Leader must complete both sections within a total of 90 minutes.
• The assessment consists of:
  • 20 Multiple Choice Questions based on programming fundamentals, to be answered in 15 minutes.
  • 2 Coding Problem Statements, to be solved in 75 minutes.
• Teams will be ranked based on the final score and the time taken to complete the assessment. In case of a tie in scores, the team that finishes earlier will be ranked higher. Based on overall performance, select teams will progress to the next stage of the competition.
• The results of the assessment will be announced within 1-2 days after the round concludes.
• The top 15 teams from the Treasure Hunt will receive a direct entry to the next round and are not required to take this assessment.

Round 2: Case Study Challenge

• Shortlisted teams from Round 1 will participate in the case study round.
• In Round 2, real-time problem statement will be shared. The teams will be required to submit a solution.
• Teams to propose a solution(s) and showcase the problems they will be addressing through their proposed solutions. Present your solution through a framework/proof of concept through PPT, it can include an explanation of your solution with a Prototype/Screens/Wireframe (if required).
• The participating teams in this round will move on to the next level based on their performance.

Round 3: Grand Finale 

• In the final round of E.P.I.C, the shortlisted teams will have to build a prototype (Coding required) based on the solutions suggested in Round 2.
• They will be given 15 days to build and present the prototype. The finale date will be shared shortly.

• First Prize: INR 1,00,000 
• Second Prize: INR 75,000
