All that you need to know about Unstop Playstorm
Imagine - your dream employer hires you, using your engagement idea. This isn’t a prompt for AI. This is a task for you!
We’re inviting you to help shape the future of how companies engage Gen Z. Whether you're into design thinking, gamification, behavioral science, or just love breaking the mold — we want your creative take.
Competition Structure
Round 1: Ideate to Innovate - Submit Your Idea
We know case studies. We know ideathons.
And hackathons, design challenges, and talent competitions.
But we don’t know what you can come up with if you had the freedom to design an engagement activity. So, why don’t you tell us?
What you have to do: Design innovative structures (or "rounds") for conducting engagements.
Think of new formats for brainstorming, team decision-making, collaboration, competitions, or problem-solving that are fresh, inclusive, and impactful. The idea doesn’t need to be polished. It just needs to wow us with its originality.
Pitch a brand-new engagement format that:
- Breaks the usual mold (not another quiz or icebreaker!)
- Sparks curiosity or excitement instantly
- Has the potential to scale or adapt across contexts (virtual/on-ground/hybrid)
- Feels fresh and Gen Z-friendly in tone or concept
Note: You don’t need to provide a full event plan or execution strategy here. Focus on bold, original concepts that feel playful, clever, or experimental.
Judging Criteria:
- Fresh formats - not just new topics, but new ways to run sessions. Focus on
- Originality and imagination
- Instant appeal and engagement potential
- Relevance to modern (especially Gen Z) workplace culture
- Simplicity of idea (it should be easy to grasp)
- Use of technology, storytelling, or gamification is a plus
Top ideas will move to Round 2, where you'll turn your vision into a real-world blueprint.
Round 2: Design the Blueprint
Your idea made it to the top. Now, bring it to life.

- Timeline (duration, phases, deadlines)
- Participant experience at each stage

- How do teams or individuals collaborate or present?
- Who judges, how is feedback given?
Interaction Strategy

- Ideas for AMAs, mentorship, or live feedback formats
Differentiation
- What makes this different from what exists today?
- How does it cater specifically to Gen Z values, preferences, and learning styles?
Format: A visual-first PDF (up to 5 pages) or a slide deck (up to 8 slides). Creativity in presentation is encouraged.
Rewards:
