Xiaomi Summit 2019: Stages and Timelines
Phase 1
For this round, students are expected to download the case studies from the website and solve either one of the two case studies. The solution should not exceed 4 slides or 2 pages and should be uploaded in a PDF format. (Naming Convention for the File: InstituteName_TeamName_CaseName) For e.g. IIMA_FIRENnICE_Category OR IIMA_FIREnICE_OFFLINE
Phase 2 / Campus Round
This is a Offline Round. This round will be conducted on campus at a mutually convenient time Jury consisting of members from Leadership team of Xiaomi will be visiting each of the 10 campuses for this phase. Top 5 teams will be selected from each of the 10 campuses to present their detailed solutions to the jury. Each team will be given 10 mins (7 mins presentation + 3 mins Q&A) to present their solution. Winners will be announced at the campus itself and will move to Grand Finale which will be conducted in Bangalore.
Phase 3 / Grand Finale
10 Finalist teams (one from each campus) will be provided a mentor to work on their solutions and refine them for final presentations. The final presentation will be conducted at Xiaomi India HQ in Bangalore. The 10 finalist teams will present their solution to the revered jury consisting of top leaders of Xiaomi India Travel and Stay for each of the finalist will be provided and Winners will be declared on that day itself. Wildcard Internship opportunity may be provided to any participant at any moment in time during the competition.

Xiaomi India presents Summit, an inter B-school Business case challenge to give students an opportunity to work on live business problems and revolutionize industries.
ELIGIBILITY:
Summit’19 is open to all first and second year students from the below mentioned institutes irrespective of their specializations:
- FMS Delhi
- IIM Indore
- IIM Kozhikode
- IIM Lucknow
- IIM Shillong
- JBIMS Mumbai
- MDI Gurgaon
- NMIMS Mumbai
- SPJIMR
- XLRI Jamshedpur
GUIDELINES:
- Students must register in teams of 2
- Students cannot register in more than one team
- Teams can register on the following link: http://www.misummit.in/register/
- Case Studies are uploaded on http://www.misummit.in/case-study/ . Students can choose to solve any one of the two case studies to participate.
- Xiaomi reserves the right to check the validity of the registration information submitted at any point of time
- Any deviation from the above will result in immediate disqualification of the entire team
- Modification of team post registration will not be allowed
- Phase I submissions should not exceed 4 slides or 2 Pages and saved as PDF (Naming Convention for the File: InstituteName_TeamName_CaseName) For e.g.IIMA_FIRENnICE_Category OR IIMA_FIREnICE_OFFLINE)
- Xiaomi will own the solutions presented to it as a part of the process and can choose to implement them in part or whole and will not pay any royalties or share any profits arising from such implementation
- In any case of conflict, Jury’s decision will be final
ROUNDS:
Summit will take place in 3 Phases.
