All that you need to know about LSR Model United Nations 2024
LSR Model United Nations is an annual event that brings together students from diverse educational backgrounds, including Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Law, and Media, along with esteemed dignitaries. It serves as a platform for diplomacy, organized by over 50 student leaders and featuring the ideas of over 1000 aspiring diplomats, all working towards the mission of "MAKING IT MATTER."
For the 2024 edition, the LSR Model UN aims to be "bigger, better, and bolder." Four committees have been announced for this year's conference:
- SOCHUM: (Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Committee)
- Agenda: Deliberating Impact-mitigation of Forced Displacement on Vulnerable Populations
(Enhancing Humanitarian Assistance and Promoting Cultural Integration in Host Communities)
- Agenda: Deliberating Impact-mitigation of Forced Displacement on Vulnerable Populations
- UNCSW (United Nations Commission on the Status of Women)
- Agenda: Empowering Women through Equal Access to Digital Technologies for Socio-Economic Inclusion
- AIPPM (All India Political Parties Meet)
- Agenda: Discussing the One Nation One Election policy for enhanced democratic governance in India
- IP (INTERNATIONAL PRESS CORPS)
- The committee is open for Journalists and Photographers.
The conference is scheduled to take place from March 22-23, 2024, at the LSR Campus.
