Semi Finals
All Semi Final matches will be best of 3 series (BO3) Losers from the semifinals will play the best of 3 matches to determine third place
Finals
Final will be the best of 3 series (BO3)
All that you need to know about AimBot: Valorant College Championship
General Guidelines:
- It is a 5 (+1) player-team tournament. A 5 man-starter roster and up to 1 substitute
- There is no restriction on whether the team members are from the same organization/college or not
- Valorant anti-cheat software (Vanguard) is kernel-based software that boots even before you with your operating system
- If Vanguard detects any suspicious activity, your system will be hardware banned
- A moderator would be spectating the matches at all times
Tournament Guidelines:
- Map Pool: Ascent, Split, Haven, Icebox, Pearl, Lotus & Fracture
- All maps will be played in the standard competitive 5v5 game mode
- There will be random seeding for deciding the initial draw
- The tournament will be played as knockout (single elimination) matches, where teams will be eliminated if they lose a match
- All the first stage matches will be the best of the 1 series (BO1)
- 4 teams will qualify for the second stage
- All second-stage matches will be best of 3 series (BO3)
- Losers from the semifinals will play the best of 3 matches to determine third place
- Final will be the best of 3 series (BO3)
Map Pick/Ban:
- Each team must present one representative in the game
- They are responsible for handling their team's map picks/bans
Best of 1:
- A toss will be conducted to determine who gets the first pick
- Team A bans the first map
- Team B bans the first map
- Team A bans the second map
- Team B bans the second map
- Team A bans the third map
- Team B bans the third map
- The remaining map is played & B picks a side
Best of 3:
- Toss will be conducted to determine who gets the first ban
- Then, team A bans the first map
- B bans the first map
- A picks the first map & B picks a side
- B picks the second map & A picks a side
- A bans the second map
- B bans the second map
- Team B picks the last map & A picks a side
Substitution Guidelines:
- Substitutions are applicable if the team roster has 6 registered members
- Substitutes are not mandatory
- Substitutions are only possible from the roster
- Substitutes can be called in after a map is over
- Mid-game substitution isn't allowed
- A subbed player can be subbed back as well
Rules & Regulations:
- Students from all colleges/courses can register for Valorant Gaming Event (AimBot - Impulse23)
- The organizers' decision will be final and binding
- Only the Team Representative/Leader shall fill the form
- One player can play from one team only
- Participants must equip themselves with a gaming device and a good internet connection
- Minimum 4 players in a team to show up on the match day, or else the other team will get a BYE and play the next round
- A college Id card / Aadhar Card needs to be provided while registering
- Timings for the tournament will be strict and failing to join within the time limit will cost you the match
- Each and every team leader must make sure that players will join the lobby 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start
Players/ Teams will be disqualified in the following cases:
- Playing in the match with unauthorized software or using bugs to gain an advantage.
- Foul language and/or behavior.
- Causing intentional disconnects during the match.
- If found that the player registered is not the same as the player playing the game, the team will be disqualified.
Communication Platform:
- WhatsApp Group and IOSD Discord server will be used as an official communication platform
- The draw and fixtures will be announced subsequently once the teams are finalized & we will be reaching out to teams by email or official WhatsApp group
