As a part of the Business Cultural festival of Simsree - Simerations 2023, “हृदय- The Operations Club” is excited to bring to you the first edition of the event “अविस्त्रोत”.

Participants' knowledge of operations and supply chains as well as their analytical abilities will be put
through an inquisitive quiz, testing their acumen to ace the challenge. Selected teams will have to put on their analytical hats to design a supply chain strategy based on operations. The best entries will advance to the presentation round where finalists will have to present their detailed solutions to a panel of business experts. The competition offers participating teams the chance to apply the concepts and frameworks of quality, cost, delivery time, and supply chain agility.

Competition Structure

First Round: Preliminary Quiz Competition (Elimination Round)

Second Round: To design a Supply Chain and submit the model on the given product in the form of
a presentation (.pdf format) with a number of 3-5 slides (excluding introduction, thank you, and appendix slides). The top teams from this round will move on to the final round.

Final Round: The shortlisted teams from the previous round will be required to present their case offline to the jury.

Evaluation Criteria: Evaluation will be done on the basis of the content, and creativity of the solution and the presentation.

Prizes:

• All teams who qualify for the final round will receive a Certificate of Participation
• Winners and the runner-up will receive cash prizes worth up to INR 12000

Eligibility:

• The event is open to all MBA and Engineering colleges
• Each team should consist of 2-3 members from the same institute
• A particular student can be a part of only one team
• Cross-year teams are allowed
• Any number of teams can participate from a single institute

Rules:

• Details of Round 2 and Round 3 will be provided only to the teams who qualify for Round 2
• The decision of the panel of judges shall be final and binding on all participants
• The organizers can change the format of the competition at any point in time
• The decision of the organizers will be final and binding for all participants
• The teams should strictly abide by the presentation submitted by them and should not change their content in the final round
• Plagiarism or violations of any of the above said rules will lead to disqualification of the team
• The organizing team reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any participating team they find or believe has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the competition and has violated these rules
• The decision of our organizing team on the basis of scores will be considered final
• No further objections regarding their decision will be entertained
• In case of equal scores, time will be taken into consideration for the ranking
