This annual inter-college sports tournament has attracted participation from 15+ prominent Indian business institutions, engaging over 1000 students each year.
Welcome to our badminton world, where the court is more than just a place to play; it's a lively space woven with teamwork, resilience, and a strong love for the shuttlecock's movement. In badminton, every rally is like a winning song, and each well-aimed shot adds color to the exciting competition. Here, badminton is not just a game; it's a way of life.
General Guidelines:
- All players in the team are required to show their college ID cards for verification
- Reporting time for the team will be 30 minutes prior to their scheduled match
- The decision of the organizers will be final.
- Teams pulling out of the tournament will not be eligible for a refund.
- Participants should adhere to the event guidelines, any violations would result in direct disqualification.
- The use of unfair means will result in direct disqualification.
- Two teams per institute can participate.
- Rules, Schedule & Prize money are subject to change based on the number of registrations and sponsors. The final decision in all matters rests with the organizing team.
- For now, only captains and vice captains can register themselves.
- Registration would be confirmed post-payment.
- A Google Form will be circulated post-registration and will give the payment details.
Rules:
- A minimum of 4 players (2 males and 2 females) have to participate in a match.
- Each player needs to show their ID proof before the match starts.
- The event is in league-cum-knockout format.
- Each game will consist of 3 sets of 21 points each (for Semi-finals and finals).
- For matches other than finals and semi-finals, 15 points will be taken.
- In case of a tie, the golden point rule will be applicable.
- Best of three will be considered for all the matches.
- The order of games and players proposed to play particular games will have to be pre-decided and submitted to the organizing committee before the beginning of the match and cannot be changed thereafter.
- Teams are expected to bring their own racquets and non-marking shoes are mandatory.
- Players will be allowed a 1-minute break between the ongoing matches.
- A 2-minute interval between each game is allowed. There is no additional timeout.
- The referees’ decisions will be final and abiding.
- All the BWF badminton rules and regulations will be followed.
