Event Name: Battle of Bands
Overview:
- Full band performances using various musical instruments.
- Performances should be 5-10 minutes long.
Rounds:

Round 1: Video Submission Round (Via Unstop)
- Participants upload a 2-3 minute video and provide the drive link.

Round 2: Offline Competition (On-Campus)
- Perform live on stage, with a 5-10 minute performance.
- Minimum of 3 people on stage at a time.
- Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
Final Round:
- Finalist bands will perform live during Sierra ’25, with a maximum of 10 minutes per performance.
- The band lineup must remain the same as in Round 1.
Requirements:
- Submit setlist in advance.
- Bring backup tracks or equipment essentials.
- Bring your own musical instruments (except drumset and speakers, which will be provided by the institute).

Rules and Regulations:
- Naming Convention: BattleOfBands_CollegeName_Individual’sName
- Participants must carry their physical government and college ID.
- Team Size: 3 to 10 participants (including 2 helpers).
- Team Registration: The team leader is required to register on behalf of the entire team.
- Vocalist Requirement: At least one vocalist and a minimum of two instrumentalists.
- Instruments: The institute will provide a drumset and speakers, but the band must bring all other necessary instruments, cables, and gear.
- Performances can be in Hindi, English, or a mix of both languages.
- Time Limits:
- Performance duration: 5-10 minutes.
- Set-up time: Maximum of 5 minutes (exceeding time limits leads to disqualification).
- No backing tracks/pre-recorded sequences are allowed.
- Prohibited Content:
- No derogatory, offensive lyrics, profanity, vulgarity, or obscenity.
- Any participant engaging in unfair practices will be disqualified.
- All decisions regarding eligibility, authenticity, and final judgment are at the discretion of Unstop & IIM Sirmaur.
