Dastaan - On The Spot Film Making Competition

Zephyr- The Film And Photography Society of CVS, brings to you Dastaan - An On the spot Short Filmmaking Competition that will allow you to explore yourself and create something beautiful along the process.

Dastaan is an on-the-spot filmmaking competition, for which we will conduct a preliminary round.

Guidelines for Preliminary Round

• Preliminary Round is an open theme round.
• No boundation on the duration of the preliminary entry.
• Cross-college teams are not allowed.
• Plagiarism is prohibited.
• Entries submitted as a part of the “Ishtehar” Competition will not be considered.
• Submit your film on the drive link provided to participate.
• Last date for submission of entries is 28th February, 11:59 PM.
• A total of 7 teams will be selected. 

Main Offline Competition

• You can participate in a team of a maximum of 5 participants.
• The theme for the offline competition will be announced one night prior.
• All selected participants/teams must report at 8:30 AM on 4th of March at College of Vocational Studies, DU.
• Duration of the short film should be between 1-3 min.
• Teams will be disqualified if they exceed the given time limit.
• Any video camera can be used for shooting the film.
• Plagiarism is prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification.
• The video should be in Landscape format.
• Use of copyrighted music is allowed.
• No stock footage should be used.
