Dastaan - On The Spot Film Making Competition: Stages and Timelines
Preliminary round
Preliminary Round is an open theme round. No boundation on the duration of the preliminary entry. Cross-college teams are not allowed. Plagiarism is prohibited. Entries submitted as a part of the “Ishtehar” Competition will not be considered. Submit your film on the drive link provided to participate. Last date for submission of entries is 28th February, 11:59 PM. A total of 7 teams will be selected.
Offline Round
You can participate in a team of a maximum of 5 participants. The theme for the offline competition will be announced one night prior. All selected participants/teams must report at 8:30 AM on 4th of March at College of Vocational Studies, DU. Duration of the short-film should be between 1-3 min. Teams will be disqualified if they exceed the given time limit. Any video camera can be used for shooting the film. Plagiarism is prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification. The video should be in Landscape format. Use of copyrighted music is allowed. No stock footage should be used.

Zephyr- The Film And Photography Society of CVS, brings to you Dastaan - An On the spot Short Filmmaking Competition that will allow you to explore yourself and create something beautiful along the process.
Dastaan is an on-the-spot filmmaking competition, for which we will conduct a preliminary round.
