Online Round
This is the Solo singing event for the Annual Cultural Fest of IIM Visakhapatnam, SAMAARAMBH 8.0. The theme is “Angels and Demons”. Take this as an opportunity to unravel the musician in you and let your voice do the magic of touching all souls. The event consists of two rounds. The first round (Qualifier Round) is a video submission round followed by a live performance in the IIM Visakhapatnam campus for the second/final round.

All that you need to know about Echoes of Heaven and Hell: Solo Singing
Round 1: (Qualifier Round):
Participants must submit their performance as a video recording of duration 3 minutes via registration link provided.
- Round 1 is a video submission round, the duration of the video should be 3 minutes.
- The naming convention of the video should be of the format Name_CollegeName.
- Video and Audio should be clear and distraction free.
- No audio filters are allowed.
- No external app is allowed for voice modulation.
- Only one submission per person will be accepted.
Round 2: (Final Round):
In the final round, shortlisted participants must perform live in the IIM Visakhapatnam campus on 17th/18th February 2024. Participants can perform song(s)/mashup no longer than 4 minutes.
- In round 2, the shortlisted participants must perform live in the IIM Visakhapatnam campus on 17th/18th February 2024.
- The number of participants to be considered for Round 2 will depend on the number of entries received in Round 1. However, the number should be around 12-15 (tentative).
- Participants are allowed to perform the song(s)/mashup, not longer than 4 minutes. However, it should not deviate much from the theme of “Angels and Demons”.
- The top 3 performers selected from Round 2 will be the winners.

Appreciation Award - 1000/- Special prize is for the performance which gets maximum likes and comments in the Samaarambh Instagram page. The criteria will be: 1 like = 1 point 1 like + follow (Samaarambh page) = 2 points 1 like + 1 comment = 5 points 1 like +1 follow + 1 comment = 10 point).
