We at IIITD are thrilled to present *drumroll please* Encore Western! - the Solo Western Singing Competition of Odyssey'25. Join us for this exciting event as we unleash the power of music. Get ready for soulful melodies, powerful vocals, and a day to remember. May the best singer win!

Event Details:

• Date: 8th/9th March 2025
• Time: 14:00 IST (Tentative)
• Venue: IIITD (Exact location TBA)
• Registration Deadline (Prelims): 5th Noon March 2025
• Results for Prelims: By eod 5th March 2025

Competition Format:

This is a 2-round competition.

Round 1 (Online Preliminary):

• This round is free for participation.
• Participants must send a video clip of their performance (may be the same as the one that you'll be presenting or performing offline for the main event).
• Judges will evaluate the submissions and will select the best to advance to the next and final round. 

Final Round (Offline Finals):

• If selected for this round, you will be informed of the same.
• Participants will perform in a pre-decided random order at the specified date, time, and venue.
• The panel of judges will score based on the harmony, arrangement, skills, and overall impression and declare the top 3 as winners.

Rules and Regulations:

• After registration, submit the video entry at "Round 1(via Unstop)"
• The time limit per video entry for Round 1 is 1 - 4 minutes.
• Each participant will be given 8 minutes in the Final Round, including both setting up and performing, exceeding which would result in a penalty in the score.
• Bring your instruments. The organization would provide no instrument.
• This is a solo singing competition, where participants are allowed to have 1 instrumentalist for music or else he/she could use backing tracks for the same. Despite the presemce of an instrumentalist, the competitot/winner will the singer only.
• Backing tracks are allowed, but they should be without vocal bits or harmonies.
• There is no on-spot registration.
• The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Note: In case of any disputes, the decision of Odyssey IIITD would be final.

Prizes Upto 10K - The Prize Pool is subject to change depending upon the number of participants. Prizes and certificates will be released within 2 weeks after the event is over.
