Itna Sannata Kyun Hai Bhai !?

Eligibility:

All college students below the age of 25 years.

Guidelines:

• Both languages, Hindi and English are acceptable.
• Any kind of blame, speculation or inflammatory language should be avoided. Otherwise, a strict penalty will be imposed.
• No repetition of ideas and points should be done during the discussions and rebuttals.
• Listen respectfully without interrupting. No participant is allowed to interrupt other fellow participants. Such action may result in penalties.
• Shouting, screaming, or any kind of violent acts are strictly prohibited.
• Any fact presented during the argument must be accurate.
• The cross-questioner may ask any fair, clear question that has a direct bearing on the debate.
• No statements, comments, or ask rhetorical questions are to be asked.
• The judges’ decision will be final and ultimate.

Rules:

• Round 1: Drinks and Debates:
  • The participants will be divided into groups. Each group will be given 20 minutes to generate a group discussion on a topic given on the spot.
  • Each participant will be getting drinks, and based on the time they take to finish it, the top 5 will be given a chance to speak. 
• Bonus Round:
  • All the students who couldn’t qualify for Round 2 will be given another chance in this bonus round to qualify.
• Round 2: Rebuttal Battle:
  • Two people who get the same topic number will be a pair and have to compete against each other.
  • The order of speaking will be predetermined. Each team will be assigned a topic when their number comes.
  • This round will test participants debating skills and presence of mind.
