Meme Making Competition

Getting bored with your regular studies? Now it's time to invoke the memer inside you and be the reason for laughter. Let's boost your hidden talent and showcase your meme-making skills. 

And here we go! We are delighted to inform you that Team E-Summit’23 is organizing a meme competition.

Rules: 

• Each team should register with the proper e-mail id and are requested to provide their contact number also.
• The number of team participants should NOT exceed 2 and they can participate individually as well. 
•  Participants are required to submit a Meme based on the given themes. The themes are to be released on the 15th of January. 
• Each team is allowed a maximum of  3 submissions(one for each theme).
• Participants are required to submit a Meme based on the given themes. 
• The Themes are Corporate Life, Marketing Strategies and Entrepreneur Life.
• After receiving the confirmation mail from the team E-Summit’23 participants need to post the memes via a public account on Instagram and Facebook using the hashtags - #esummit23, #get_set_e_summit, #esummit_iitbbs
• It is mandatory to follow the @centrepreneurship  page on Instagram.

Submissions:

• Meme Photo should be in .jpg or .jpeg format with a file size that should not exceed 10 MB.
• While submitting your entry, please save your file as ‘Name_of_the_participan file format’. For example, if your name is ‘Lorem Ipsum’, you must save your file as ‘Lorem_Ipsum.jpeg’
• Submission Forms will be available here during this period only.
• Remember to ensure that existing images are available for reuse without copyright infringement.

Judging Criteria:

• For a fair competition, memes granted by E-Summit’23 are to be posted on the same date at any time provided by E-Summit. After three days, the likes count will be stopped.
• A panel of judges will determine the top three memes (based on reactions and shares on the Instagram and Facebook pages).
• Their decision will be based on the following criteria -
  • Creativity of the Meme – 50%
  • Correctness of the theme –30%
  • Amount of likes the meme received –20%
• Needless to say, judges' decisions regarding winning entries or disqualifications  (if any) shall be final and binding.

Rewards and Cash Prizes:

• Prizes worth INR 5K to the top 3 teams.
• Shoutout on Instagram - The top 6 memes will be posted on our Instagram page.
• Free entry for any one of our upcoming E-Summit’23 events.
• Participation certificates for all (non-disqualified) entries shall also be provided.
