Precise Gunplay (Valorant)

Description:

The Precise Gunplay: Valorant Showdown is a collegiate esports tournament that seeks to create a platform for students to showcase their gaming skills, strategic prowess, and teamwork in the popular tactical shooter game, Valorant.

The event is not just about gaming; it's an opportunity for participants to connect with fellow gamers, forge new friendships, and promote a healthy gaming culture on campus.  

Rules:

• Each team will consist of 5 members
• Participants are expected to play on their own setups and engage in fair play
• Map selection will be started with a coin toss where the winning team gets the pick for Bo1(Best of 1) or the first veto for Bo3
• All matches excluding the semifinal and final will be knockout matches event details

Rounds:

• Round 1: Knockouts
  • Based on the number of entries a pool will be created which will consist of Bo-1s and lead to certain elimination of teams from the tournament and the winning team proceeds to the next knockout till the semifinal.
  • Shortlisting: The top 4 teams will be shortlisted for the semifinals and the top 2 teams will compete in the finals.
• Round 2: Finals
  • The top 4 teams will compete in a Bo-3 series for a spot in the finals which will be a Bo5.

Eligibility:

• Anyone can participate
• No participant must be a member of two teams at the same time, if found later he would be disqualified immediately

General Instructions:

• Players are supposed to join the room within 15 minutes after the details have been shared. If failed to do so, the match will begin and no requests will be entertained.
• Players are strictly asked to join from their registered IDs only as we will be monitoring and removing any ID which doesn't match our database.
• No hacking ID will be entertained. If seen or reported by some other players, the player/squad using hacks will get disqualified.

Note: Any special cases will be judged by the admin, and the admin’s decision will be taken as final.
