All that you need to know about Rhapsody (Rap Battle)
Rhapsody is a piece of music that has no formal structure and expresses powerful feelings.
Through this event, we aspire to give you the platform to showcase your skills, express yourselves, and impress the audience with your lyrical prowess.
We encourage you to bring your A-game, and we can’t wait to see you bring your best to the stage!
Rules & Regulations:
- This is a solo event
- The participant must write an original rap verse/song
- The performance must not exceed 2 minutes
- Artists must bring their beat to which they will rap
- The artist must not employ any explicit words in his/her lyrics
- Usage of offensive language and slurs is strictly prohibited
- Naming a particular person or a defined group of people (religious, castes, etc. is strictly prohibited.
- Usage of any abusive language is strictly prohibited. Obscenity is not allowed and may lead to disqualification.
- Non-compliance with the rule is grounds for disqualification
- Please note: Participants will be accepted on first cum first basis
- There will be 2 finalists in the finale face-off, who will compete with each other with their best rhymes, wordplays, and insults in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere
- The decision by the judges will be final
