Rockmania (Battle of Bands)

Rockmania, the ultimate musical showdown hosted by Advaita, the music society of Bennett University, during the annual fest Uphoria. This exciting event brings together bands from colleges across the region for a spectacular display of talent, passion, and creativity. 

Romania is not just a competition; it is a celebration of music. Bands will take the stage to showcase their unique styles, from high-energy rock performances to soulful melodies. The crowd will witness powerful vocals, amazing instrumentals, and electrifying energy that will make the event unforgettable.

 Guidelines: 

• Final Round (On Campus)
  • Team Size: 5-12 per team.  
  • Time limit: 25 minutes including sound check (10 for sound check and setup + 15 for performance). 
  • A minimum of 3 performing members should be present on the stage at a time. 
  • At least two songs should be performed. 
  • No Pre-recorded music will be allowed under any circumstances. 
  • Only drum kits will be provided by the university, and all other instruments need to be carried by the team. 
  • No foul language or misconduct during the event will be entertained. 
  • The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

On Campus Accommodation Details: 

• ⁠Price Per Night - INR 900.  
• O Day 1 (15th February) includes - Entry to Prom and DJ Night  
• O ⁠Day 2 (16th February) includes - Entry to Fashion Show and Bollywood Artist pro-night.  
• O ⁠Day 3 (17th February) includes - Entry to finale Bollywood Artist pro-night.
• Accommodation will be in AC Rooms on a sharing basis.
• ⁠Two meal coupons will be provided to each guest, which can be availed for any of the meals in the university mess. (Lunch/Snacks/Dinner/Next Day Breakfast).

  Travel Details: 

• Bennett University will provide the provision of chargeable bus travel from Botanical Garden Metro Station to University Campus in the morning and back from the University Campus to the metro station in the evening to all participants. The travel will be on first come first serve basis.
• Exact timings will be communicated to the participants after their successful registration.
