Our theme, child safety and development is a call to action, a noble commitment in a world where innocence must thrive, make your verses keep hope alive. Making each stanza, a beacon in the night. Come on poets, wield a potent force, To stir discussions and chart a new course. Immerse yourself in the depths of creation, let poetry be your proclamation.
For this competition, we aim to see the power of words in making children fly. So, poets, let your ink flow free, As you shape a world where all can be Safe, cherished, and allowed to dream.
Details:
- Share your expertise, experiences, and research on child safety and development through your poems. Delve into the nuances of child safety, exploring innovative solutions, shedding light on pressing issues, and envisioning a world where every child can thrive.
- The Winning Poet will have the opportunity to Recite their Poem at our Main Event, Odyssey'24, held at Ramanujan College on 2 May 2024.
Guidelines:
- You have to participate Individually.
- Plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in disqualification.
- You can use Google for research but no AI tool is allowed.
- The poetry must be Typed and submitted in PDF/DOC format.
- The poetry can be English or Hindi but it should be in one language only.
Judging Criteria:
- Relevance to the Theme: The poem should directly address the theme of child safety, demonstrating a clear understanding of the issue at hand.
- Emotional Resonance: Judges look for poems that evoke strong emotions in the reader, whether it be empathy, compassion, outrage, or hope. The emotional impact of the poem is crucial in engaging the audience and driving home its message.
