Aether HackConquest Hackathon: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Screening & Eligibility Check (via Unstop)

Teams must submit a 7–8 page PDF or PPT covering: chosen track, approach/idea directions, planned technical stack, and expected impact. Optional links to GitHub, demos, or previous work can be included.

Evaluation Criteria: Innovation & Creativity – 40%, Relevance – 25%, Feasibility – 20%, Technical Potential – 15%

Outcome: Top teams will be shortlisted for the 36-Hour Online Hackathon Finale.
Online Hackathon Finale (via Zoom)

Shortlisted teams will receive problem statements and Zoom access via email before the hackathon.

Teams have 36 hours to develop a working prototype/demo based on their problem statement.

Deliverables: Prototype/demo, code/documentation, final presentation (slides + demo).

Final presentation: 10 min + 5 min Q&A per team.

We are thrilled to invite you to Aether's HackConquest 2025, a two-round online hackathon designed to challenge students to innovate, collaborate, and develop impactful solutions for real-world problems. HackConquest provides a platform to showcase your technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Whether you are passionate about building web apps, developing sustainable solutions, or exploring cybersecurity challenges, this is your opportunity to make your ideas come to life.
Who Can Participate?
- Open to undergraduate students from all colleges.
- Teams must have 2 - 4 members, with at least one female member.
- Multiple teams from the same college are welcome.
Themes/Problem Areas:
Participants can choose from the following focus areas:

Web & App Development - Design and build interactive websites or mobile applications, focusing on usability, functionality, and real-world utility.

Data Science & Analytics – Dashboards - Analyze datasets, create insightful dashboards, and generate actionable insights for decision-making.

AI/ML & Deep Learning - Build intelligent models, predictive algorithms, or deep learning applications to solve complex problems.

UI/UX & Frontend Design - Craft engaging user interfaces, seamless experiences, and visually appealing designs for digital platforms.

Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & Cloud - Develop secure systems, ensure data privacy, and explore cloud-based solutions for modern challenges.

Platform:
- HackConquest 2025 will be conducted fully online via Google Meet. Participants will receive the access link via email after registration.
Round 1 – Idea Submission & Screening (06 Sep – 20 Sep 2025):
- Submissions will be made through the Unstop platform. Shortlisted teams will be notified via Unstop and email.
- Submit a 2–3 page abstract (PDF/PPT) covering your chosen problem statement, solution summary (max 300 words), planned technical stack, feasibility, and expected impact.
- Optional links to GitHub repos, demo videos, or prototypes can be added.
- Evaluation Criteria: Innovation & Creativity (40%), Relevance (25%), Feasibility (20%), Technical Implementation Potential (15%).
- Top teams will be shortlisted for the Online Hackathon Finale.
Round 2 – Online Hackathon Finale (26 Sep 2025, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM IST):
- Shortlisted teams will present their working prototype/demo live via Google Meet.
- Time per team: 5 min presentation + 3 min Q&A.
- Optional slides, diagrams, or GitHub links can be submitted in advance.
- Evaluation Criteria: Innovation & Creativity (40%), Relevance (25%), Feasibility & Implementation (20%), Technical Potential & Scalability (15%).
- Judges will provide feedback and select winners based on total weighted scores.
Awards:
- Top 2 Teams: Trophy, Medal, Certificate of Achievement
- All Finalists: Certificate of Participation
