Apexathon: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Online Test
The First Round will be an Online Test between March 30, 2025, and March 31, 2025. Each Team Member has to appear for the test individually. Each Member needs to clear the cut-off to get selected for Round 2. The Round will be the basis of Elimination for the Second Round. The Candidates will be assessed based on their knowledge in Aptitude, Base SAS, Data Science and Statistics. Results will be declared through Personal Emails individually.
Round 2: 24HRS Challenge - CU Campus, Mohali
The Apexathon 24-Hour Hackathon at Chandigarh University kicks off on April 9, 2025, bringing together some of the brightest minds to tackle real-world challenges. Participants will receive a problem statement provided by SAS judges, pushing them to think innovatively and develop impactful solutions. Over the course of 24 hours, teams will work intensively, leveraging their technical expertise to create practical, data-driven solutions. This round serves as a crucial elimination stage, determining which teams advance to the final phase. With creativity, endurance, and problem-solving at its core, the Apexathon Hackathon promises to be an exhilarating test of skill and innovation.
Round 3: Presentation - CU Campus, Mohali
The final stage of Apexathon 2025 will be the Presentation Round, where the top 10 teams from the 24-hour hackathon will showcase their solutions to an esteemed panel of judges. Taking place on April 11, 2025, at Chandigarh University, this round will test not only the technical depth of the solutions but also their real-world applicability, innovation, and feasibility. Each team will be required to present their project in the form of a structured presentation, explaining their approach, methodology, implementation, and potential impact. The judges will assess the teams based on their ability to articulate the problem-solving process, the effectiveness of their solution, and how well they address the evaluation criteria.
