Ideation Phase
All participants are required to go through the given tracks carefully and prepare a presentation of their ideation, covering the following key points: Problem Statement, Prescribed Solution and Relevance. Please ensure your presentation is well-structured and aligns with the theme of your selected track. Submission Deadline is 25th October, 12:00 PM. Make sure to submit your presentation before the deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.

Build for Billions - indiastack.online Hackathon is a national-level, 24-hour software hackathon designed to bring together the brightest minds from across the country to innovate, collaborate, and shape the future of technology. It is organised by IET NITK and Indiastack.Online under the umbrella of Incub8 2025.
Problem Statement Tracks:
- Experience India - Create interactive digital museums/media experiences/agents to discover, explore, understand & interact with an Indian ecology/culture/social theme
- Buy Indian - Create digital showrooms/commercial platforms/open networks for commerce/agents to discover, explore & transact on products of an Indian niche/industry
- Skill India - Create agents/platforms/products to enable education/upskilling/income generation/employment for any occupation or industry
- Safe India - Create agents/platforms/products to promote/enable physical/digital safety/privacy of citizens/organisations in India for any safety/privacy problems/issues/concerns
- Track India - Create data/insights/info media visualisations/platforms to enable/empower any citizen/group/industry & promote transparency/accountability by leveraging Indian data/public datasets
Timeline:
- Idea Submission Phase: 22nd October - 25th October, 12 PM
- Hackathon Dates: 25th October, 10 AM - 26th October, 10 AM
- Registration Platform: Unstop
Eligibility:
- Open to All Undergraduate Students from Any Year. Teams Can Have up To 3 Members.
Important Guidelines and Details:
- Each Team Is Limited to A Maximum of Three Members, and Students from Any Year or Branch Are Eligible to Participate.

- Round 1 (ideation Phase):
- Teams must submit a Presentation (6-10 Slides or 3-6 Minute Idea Explainer Video) of their Ideation through the Unstop Platform by 25th, 12 Pm. The Idea must clearly align with one of the given tracks and should be Innovative, Feasible, and Impactful.
- Late Submissions will NOT be considered.
- Qualified candidates will be notified via Email, and only those Teams will be allowed to participate in the Main Hackathon.
- Qualifying Emails Will Be Sent at Least 24 Hours Prior to the start of The Hackathon.
- The Hackathon Will Be Conducted in A Hybrid Mode.
- Round II: Main Hackathon:
- In Round 2, the Shortlisted Teams Will Participate in The Main Hackathon.
- Where They Will Work Intensively to Develop Their Ideas Into Working Prototypes.
- This Round Will Be Held in A Hybrid Format, Allowing Participants to Choose Between Joining Online or Attending in Person at LHC-C, Nitk. During the Hackathon, Teams Will Have a Fixed Time Frame to Design, Code, and Implement Their Solutions. Mentors and Volunteers Will Be Available to Provide Guidance Throughout the Event.
- The focus of This Round Will Be on Innovation, Technical Execution, Problem-Solving, and Overall Impact.
- Accommodation for Outside Nitk Students: Accommodations Are Provided Free of Cost for Early Bird Registrations.
- Food Coupons Will Be Provided for Non-NITK Students.
- The Offline Venue for The Hackathon Will Be LHC-C, Nitk.
- No Plagiarism: All Submissions Must Be Original and Innovative in Nature. Plagiarism in Any Form Is Strictly Prohibited. Teams Must Ensure that Deadlines Are Met, and The Decisions of The Organising Committee Will Be Final and Binding.
- Projects should Be Practical, Impactful, and Technically Sound.
