Buildathon 2025 - Innovate. Iterate. Evolve: Stages and Timelines

Build-a-thon Pre Meetup

The Build-a-thon Pre Meetup is an exclusive offline session designed to bring together all registered participants before the main hackathon. This meetup will serve as an orientation where participants will get an overview of the Build-a-thon structure, rules, judging criteria, and problem statements. It will also provide a great opportunity for networking, team formation, and resolving any doubts related to the event. The session will ensure that every participant is well-prepared and aligned for the upcoming hackathon journey.

Round 0 PPT Submission

Round 0 is the PPT Submission Round where teams must submit their idea presentation covering the problem statement, proposed solution, uniqueness, feasibility, and impact. The jury will evaluate submissions to shortlist teams for the next rounds. Ensure timely submission as late entries will not be accepted.

Round 1 PPT/Short Presentation

In this round, the selected teams will be required to prepare and deliver a 5-minute presentation using a PPT. The teams must pitch their idea clearly, highlighting the problem, solution, uniqueness, and potential impact. The presentation will be evaluated based on clarity, creativity, feasibility, and overall delivery.

Hackathon day

Hackathon Day is the main event where shortlisted teams will work intensively on their projects at the BVIMR campus. Participants will implement their ideas, build prototypes, and demonstrate their solutions to the jury within the given timeframe. The round will test creativity, technical skills, teamwork, and problem-solving ability under real hackathon conditions. Final evaluations will be based on innovation, feasibility, execution, and impact of the solution.
