ByteSynergy 2.0 - Unleash Your Coding Prowess
ByteSynergy 2.0, the second iteration of Synergy's flagship hackathon, is here, and it's bigger and better than ever! This tech extravaganza, hosted by IIIT-Bangalore's Zense (the software development club) and Google Developers Student Club in collaboration with esteemed labs like e-HRC, WSL, and CTRIDG, is an opportunity for tech enthusiasts to tackle real-world problems across diverse domains such as healthcare, e-governance, automation, and blockchain.

Challenge Yourself with Real-World Problems:
ByteSynergy 2.0 is not your typical hackathon. It's a platform where the brightest engineering minds can come together to solve real-life problems that have a meaningful impact. This year's challenges span a wide array of domains, allowing participants to apply their technical prowess to make a difference in healthcare, transform e-governance, harness automation, and explore the potential of blockchain technology.
Tracks:
Here are the four tracks of the hackathon. Detailed problem statements for each track will be unveiled on October 21, 2023.
- HealthLink: Build a full-stack app that leverages advanced communication technology to revolutionize remote healthcare access
- DataDive: Embark on a holistic data science exploration, tackling OCR, data cleaning, analytics, and visualization to uncover valuable insights from Karnataka's vast governance data reservoir
- CodeCrafter: Streamline the process of crafting complex user interfaces to enhance efficiency and simplicity
- CryptoCrunch: Unleash your creative genius for decentralized innovation
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to undergraduate and master's students from all colleges
- Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are allowed
Unlike most hackathons, ByteSynergy 2.0 welcomes participants from various engineering branches and batches. Whether you're a seasoned coder or just getting started, this is your chance to put your skills to the test. We encourage diversity, as it often leads to the most innovative solutions.
Guidelines:
- Team Size: 1-4 members
- The hackathon will comprise 4 tracks. A single team is allowed to submit to multiple tracks
- During the submission round, participants are required to submit a software prototype of their solutions, along with the specified deliverables for each track. This round will last for four weeks
- The presentation round will feature shortlisted finalists giving a brief presentation on their submissions
Rules:
- All participants are advised to join the official Synergy Discord server
- Please refer to the detailed problem statement to understand the rules specific to each track
- The judges retain the right to withhold prizes if submissions do not meet the expected standards
