Round 1: Concept Design (PPT Submission)
Teams submit an 8-slide deck covering:
o Problem understanding
o Unique solution
o Target users
o Tech stack
o Architecture or flow diagram
o Visual mockups

Round 2 –Live Pitching of ppt
Live pitching of your presentation made in round1 explaining your idea
Round 3: Prototype Submission
In this final round, shortlisted teams will develop a working prototype of their proposed solution within a 23-hour time frame. The objective is to translate your concept into a functional demo that showcases your core features, user experience, and technical execution.
Participants are free to use any tech stack, tools, or frameworks as outlined in their Round 1 submission, with room for justified flexibility. The prototype does not have to be fully production-ready, but it should demonstrate a realistic working model with clear functionality.

This round will be judged by surprise guests from industries/colleges which will be announced soon!!
Final Result declaration
This is the closing round of CodeVeda’25, where the winners and finalists will be officially announced based on cumulative scores across all rounds. Results will be declared live on Google Meet on July 27, 2025 at 6:00 PM IST, followed by a brief address from the organizing team. Top 3 teams will receive exciting prizes, and all qualifying participants will be awarded co-branded digital certificates from Club Garuda, MUJ and CodeCrafters, IIT Madras BS.
All that you need to know about CodeVeda’25
CodeVeda’25 is a one-of-a-kind national-level online hackathon jointly hosted by Club Garuda, Manipal University Jaipur and CodeCrafters, IIT Madras BS. Designed to bridge the timeless ethos of Vedic wisdom (Veda) with the power of modern technology and innovation, this event brings together aspiring developers from across India to participate in a 3-round technical challenge conducted over 3 days.
The hackathon is structured to emphasize ideation, design, and real-time prototyping. It is more than just a competition — it is a mission to “Code for Dharma”, encouraging socially impactful solutions while nurturing skill development, teamwork, and visionary thinking. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced coder, CodeVeda’25 promises an unforgettable experience of learning and growth under expert mentorship.
Eligibility Guidelines:
- Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate college students across India
- Teams must consist of 1 to 4 members
- Inter-college teams are allowed and encouraged
- Inter-specialization collaboration (e.g., tech + business + design) is welcomed
- No prior hackathon experience is required — beginners are encouraged to participate
- Participants should have a basic understanding of programming, prototyping, or design tools
Hackathon Format & Process:
Round 1: Concept Design – July 25
- Participants must submit a 6–8 slide presentation (PPT) covering:
- Problem understanding
- Unique and innovative solution
- Intended users and stakeholders
- Proposed tech stack
- Architecture, wireframes, or UI mockups
- Implementation timeline and scalability scope
Round 2: Live Pitching – July 26 (10:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Selected teams will pitch their ideas live via Google Meet
- Each team gets 5–7 minutes to present, followed by 3 minutes of Q&A
- Judging panel includes members from Club Garuda, CodeCrafters (IIT Madras BS), and industry experts
Round 3: Prototype Sprint – July 26 (4:00 PM) to July 27 (4:00 PM)
- Teams will have 24 hours to develop and submit a working prototype including:
- GitHub Repository / Figma Link / Demo Video
- README file with setup instructions
- Screenshots or screen recordings
- Tech stack description and development overview

Rules & Terms and Conditions:
- Original Submissions Only
- All submissions must be original and created during the hackathon
- Use of prebuilt projects, previous submissions, or AI-generated code without explanation is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification
- Mandatory Round Participation
- Teams must actively participate in all three rounds to be considered for evaluation and awards
- Absence in any round may result in disqualification
- Official Communication Channels
- All communication will occur via WhatsApp and Discord
- Teams are expected to be responsive and stay updated through these channels
Judging Finality:
- The evaluation panel will consist of experts from Club Garuda, CodeCrafters (IIT Madras BS), and independent industry professionals
- Judges’ decisions are final and binding
- No re-evaluation requests will be entertained
Code of Conduct:
- Participants are expected to maintain professional, respectful, and ethical conduct
- Any form of misconduct, including spamming or offensive behavior, will result in disqualification
- Non-Refundable Registration Policy
- Registration fees are strictly non-refundable
- No refunds will be issued in any scenario, including:
- Disqualification for plagiarism or misconduct
- Withdrawal or non-participation
- Ineligibility found at any stage
- Failure to submit deliverables
- Event Structure Rights
- The organizing team reserves the right to amend rules, schedules, or judging panels with prior notice if required for smooth conduct
