Adobe University Hackathon 2026: Stages and Timelines
Round 1 - Online Assessment (MCQ + Coding)
In this round, participants are required to attempt a 1-hour online assessment comprising 15 multiple-choice questions (15 minutes), 2 coding challenges (45 minutes). The team’s final score will be calculated based on the average score of all its members.
Round 2 - Case Study on Brand Visibility
Shortlisted participants from the Online Assessment Round will advance to this round. Participants will be required to analyse a real-world brand visibility case study and answer a set of questions based on the given scenario. Responses will be evaluated on analytical thinking, strategic approach, and the ability to derive actionable insights. This round must be completed within 45 minutes in one sitting before the timer expires. Each participant is allowed only one attempt.
Round 3 - Development Round
All shortlisted teams will receive the detailed problem statement once the round goes live. Teams will be required to build a solution as outlined in the problem brief and submit it following the prescribed guidelines. Submission requirements, including the GitHub repository link and any supporting documents, along with detailed instructions, will be shared with the shortlisted teams before the round begins.
Live Launch Session
In this interactive session, shortlisted teams will be introduced to the problem statement by industry leaders. The session will include a detailed briefing on the case, expectations from submissions, and key guidelines. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insights to help shape their approach to the challenge.
Round 4 - Prototype Showcase
In this round, shortlisted teams will build a working prototype of their solution idea. Building on the previous round, teams must create an interface that allows users to explore, interact with, and gain meaningful insights from their solution. The prototype should highlight core user experience elements such as ease of navigation, smooth interactions, and the overall value it delivers to the user.
Team leaders must submit their solution as per the guidelines shared, along with any supporting evaluation materials. Full details will be provided in the official problem statement.
Round 5 - Grand Finale
The top-qualifying teams will get the exclusive opportunity to present their solutions to Adobe’s leadership at the company’s headquarters in Noida. Adobe will take care of all travel and accommodation arrangements for the finalists, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience as they showcase their ideas on a national stage.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to engineering students across all years and branches
- Participants must register in teams of 2-3 members.
- Cross-college teams are not allowed.
- Cross-year teams are allowed.
- Cross-specialisation teams are allowed.
Rules and Guidelines:
- All members of the team have to register with their WhatsApp numbers.
- All members of the team must register with their official university ID. In case you do not have one, you can register with your Gmail ID.
- All members of a team should be from the same institute/university.
- One student cannot be a part of more than one team.
Rounds and Stages:
Round 1 - Online Assessment (MCQ + Coding)
- The assessment comprises 15 MCQs (Algorithms, DSA & Programming Logic) and 2 coding questions to be completed within 60 minutes.
- Each participant is allowed only one attempt.
- The assessment must be completed in one sitting before the timer expires.
Round 2 - Case Study on Brand Visibility
- Shortlisted participants from the Online Assessment Round will advance to this round.
- You will analyse a Brand Visibility case study and answer a set of questions within 45 minutes.
- Each participant is allowed only one attempt.
- The round must be completed in one sitting before the timer expires.
Round 3 - Development Round
- All shortlisted teams will receive the detailed problem statement once the round goes live.
- Teams will be required to build a solution based on the problem statement and submit it as per the prescribed guidelines.
- Submission requirements, including the GitHub repository link and any supporting documents, will be communicated before the round begins.
- Detailed submission instructions and timelines will be shared with all shortlisted teams prior to the start of the round.
Round 4 - Prototype Showcase
- Shortlisted teams will build a functional prototype based on their solution from the previous round.
- The prototype should demonstrate the core user experience and the features outlined in the problem statement.
- The team leader must submit the prototype along with any supporting documents, as per the submission guidelines.
- Complete submission details will be shared with the shortlisted teams.
- Only the team leader can make the submission.
Round 5 - Grand Finale
- The top teams will present their solutions to the Adobe leadership at the Adobe headquarters in Noida.
- Adobe will cover the travel and accommodation expenses for all students qualifying for the Grand Finale.
Rewards and Prizes:
- 1st Prize - Each member of the Winning team will receive a MacBook Pro
- 2nd Prize - Each member of the Winning team will receive a MacBook Neo
- Top 50 participants to get PPIs and a chance to intern with Adobe with a stipend of INR 1,10,000 per month
- National Finalists to get exclusive Adobe merchandise and a chance for a fully sponsored Adobe office visit
- 50 shortlisted teams to get certificates from Adobe
Note: Only the 2028 batch is eligible for PPIs for an Internship.
