The DJ InIT.AI at Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering is offering an exceptional opportunity to explore the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence through our main event, D2K 2.0. Participants from India's leading colleges will be utilizing their exceptional intellect in this competition.

Description:

  • DJ InIT.AI is bringing to you the 'Data 2 Knowledge', the second edition of the 6-hour Datathon going to be organized offline and Sponsored by Dextra Labs with prizes worth more than ₹50K.
  • Dextra Labs is an AI-focused firm that leverages data to generate insights for quantifiable decision-making. Their solutions enable businesses to streamline processes by leveraging data for better brand reputation and customer satisfaction. Their team of experts believes that data is the new oil and works towards creating actionable insights as a solution to cater to any business hiccups.
  • Datathon fosters problem-solving and risk-taking in a casual environment. The time limit in the datathon forces participants to distill their visionary concepts into actionable solutions. All this increases the chance of finding innovative fixes to persistent problems.
  • The competition aims to bring students with various skill sets together and to encourage them to embrace their talent by participating and exploring new challenges. Participants will have a wide range of opportunities to showcase their skills by applying ideas and solving real-world problems.

Rules:

  • Eligibility: The datathon is open to all participants who meet the specified eligibility criteria, such as being an engineering student
  • Every participant must carry an ID proof of their own
  • Requests for team change/individual member interchange in a team just before the event will not be entertained
  • Participants must be present during the event at the specified time. Absentees will be automatically disqualified
  • In case of any disputes, the final wording will remain with the organizers. The decision of the judges is final
  • Any damage to college property will be punishable and dealt with accordingly
  • Team Size: Teams can have a specific number of members, that is 1-3 people
  • Problem Statement: Participants will be given real-world, industry-level problems based on various fields of Artificial Intelligence and data science. The Problem statements will be revealed a day before the event
  • Domains: MLOPS, NLP, CV, Generative AI, Data science, Data Analysis
  • Judging: There will be rounds of judging, with the first round for shortlisting projects based on given criteria and the second round for selecting winners based on their presentations
  • Evaluation Criteria: Projects will be evaluated based on criteria such as relevance to the problem, creativity, and technical skills
  • Code of Conduct: Participants must maintain proper decorum and respect towards their fellow participants and judges. Any kind of misconduct or unprofessional behavior will not be tolerated
  • Prizes: Winners will be awarded prizes, such as cash, certificates, or other incentives worth up to 50K+
  • Registration: Participants must register for the datathon and submit their resumes or other required information
  • Inter-college team members are allowed
