Pitching Round (at IIIT Delhi)
Startups pitch their ideas to venture capitalists and investors | Date: 13th Sept 2025 | Timings: 3PM to 5:20 PM | Pitch Duration: 15 minutes (including Q&A) | A distinguished panel of investors and VCs will serve as judges, actively looking for promising startups to fund. The funding decisions will be made entirely by them, based on their interest in the idea and how much they are willing to invest.

Overview:
- Pitch Cafe is the flagship event of the E-Cell at IIIT Delhi.
- It brings together innovators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries to present groundbreaking ideas.
- The event provides incubator and accelerator services, mentorship, and networking opportunities, serving as a launchpad for early-stage startups and aspiring entrepreneurs.
- Participants get the chance to pitch their ideas before industry experts, investors, and venture capitalists.
Focus Areas:
- Innovation in domains such as AI, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Robotics, etc.
- Recognition of creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Support in transforming ideas into viable business ventures.
- Refinement of business models and pitching strategies.
Eligibility:
- Open to undergraduate students from all colleges/universities and startups.
- Teams must consist of 3–5 members.
- Inter-college teams are allowed.

- Startup Track
Event Structure:
- Round 1: Online Submission
- Teams must submit:
- Team Details: Name, College/organisation, Address
- Idea Submission: Problem statement
- Pitch Deck: PDF
- Top 10 teams will advance to Round 2.
- The top 10 teams have to pay a participation fee of ₹100 per participant.
- Teams must submit:
- Round 2: Pitching Round (at IIIT Delhi)
- Startups pitch their ideas to venture capitalists and investors.
- Date: 13th Sept 2025
- Timings: 3 PM to 5:20 PM
- Pitch Duration: 15 minutes (including Q&A).

Important Guidelines:
- Adherence to deadlines – Late submissions will not be considered.
- Originality – Use of pre-built solutions is not allowed; all ideas must be original.
- Professionalism – Respectful behavior is mandatory throughout the competition.
- Final decision – The organizing committee's decision on eligibility and disqualification is final.
