Excalibur (Technobyte, NIT Kurukshetra): Stages and Timelines
Abstract Submission (Refer attached case/pdf file)
In this round, the teams have to specify their idea of the software they aim to build. This has to be submitted as an abstract of about 500 words. The abstract must include details like the problem statement, the proposed software solution, the tech stack, etc. The teams are free to choose and create software related to any domain and are encouraged to be creative with their ideas. Software Development and Progress Check
Mentors will be assigned to the teams selected after the abstract submission round. The actual software development phase will begin. The progress of all the teams will be checked regularly. The top 8 best-performing teams will proceed to the final round.
Final Round
The top 8 teams will build a fully functional working demo and a presentation of their project. The final round will be held offline at NIT Kurukshetra during Techspardha'23 (26th Jan, 2023 to 29th Jan, 2023).

Rules and Guidelines -
- Students of the first, second, and pre-final years of all branches and programs are eligible to participate
- A team should comprise of 3 to 4 members
- Inclusion of atleast one female member is compulsory in each team
- Inter-year and inter-college teams are not allowed
- Use of Git is mandatory
Rounds -
- First round: Registration and abstract submission on Unstop
- Second round: Software development and progress check
- Final round: Final presentation and working demo
The final round will be held offline at NIT Kurukshetra during Techspardha’23 (26 January 2023 to 29th January 2023).
