Grand Finale at IIT Delhi

Overview:
GreenHack is a national tech-for-impact hackathon focused on tackling urgent climate and sustainability issues through innovation. It brings together coders, designers, environmentalists, and engineers to build powerful tech solutions for a greener tomorrow.
Hosted under CodeFest 2025, GreenHack runs alongside three other national hackathons, each with separate tracks and a common grand celebration at IIT Delhi.
Themes:
Participants can choose from climate-critical domains such as:
- Carbon Tracking & Offset Tools
- AI for Waste Segregation & Recycling
- Water Conservation & IoT Monitoring
- Clean Energy Dashboards or Visualizations
- Sustainable Urban Mobility & Logistics
- Wildcard Track – Any impact-driven climate tech solution
Eligibility & Teams:
- Open to all college students (UG, PG, research)
- Team size: 1 to 4 members
- Cross-college & cross-discipline teams welcome
- No prior experience in climate tech is necessary – just passion to build impact
Participation Fee:
- ₹400 per team (flat), ₹100 per member in a 4-member team
- Includes access to mentorship, offline hackathon participation, and community channels
- Fee payable during registration – confirmation only after successful payment
Rewards & Perks:
- Total Prize Pool: ₹1.5 Lakhs
- Top teams will get grant and fellowship consideration from UN-aligned organizations & climate incubators
- Food & stay provided at IIT Delhi for all offline finalists
- Certification, swags, networking with sustainability leaders
- (Travel not reimbursed)

- APIs: OpenAQ, UNEP, OpenStreetMap, Google Cloud Environment APIs
