Profile Shortlisting Round
- Before the online pitch round, participants will first be shortlisted based on their LinkedIn and GitHub profiles submitted during registration.
- This helps us find teams who have worked on projects, contributed to tech communities, or shown interest in building things.
Online Round
The online round serves as the qualifier stage, where shortlisted teams will present their projects or prototypes live to a panel of mentors via Google Meet. Each team will have 5 minutes to pitch their idea, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session. Teams will be evaluated and scored based on innovation, feasibility, and clarity of presentation. The top 25 teams with the highest scores will advance to the offline Grand Finale.
Offline Round
The Offline Grand Finale of Hack For Green Bharat is set for 2nd Week Of march at Microsoft Office Noida The top 25 teams will compete in an 8-hour hackathon, presenting impactful solutions to expert judges. Participants will enjoy free meals, goodies, fun games, tech sessions, and networking with top engineers and founders. It’s more than a hackathon—it’s a celebration of innovation, teamwork, and national impact.

What Is Hack For Green Bharat?
Hack For Green Bharat is the India’s flagship AI-focused sustainability hackathon, uniting top young innovators across India to tackle real-world environmental and public health challenges. Participants will build practical, high-impact solutions and present them to industry leaders.
Supported by ecosystem partners and guided by purpose, the initiative emphasizes AI-led climate action, pollution control, and sustainable development. Evolving from the success of the Code For Bharat series, this edition aims for broader participation, stronger ecosystem engagement, and measurable on-ground outcomes.

Important Dates:
- Profile Shortlisting Round: 15th January – 1st February 2026
- Evaluation will be based on applicants’ LinkedIn, GitHub, and previous contributions shared during registration.
- Project Submission Round: 20th February – 26th February 2026
- The project submission link will be made available to all registered participants.
- Online Qualifier Round: 28th February 2026 - 1st March 2026
- Shortlisted teams will virtually pitch their complete project (Code or MVP) via Google Meet. Time format: 5-minute pitch + 2-minute Q&A.
- Offline Grand Finale: 2nd Week Of March 2026
- Top-performing 25 teams will participate in a live hackathon with expert mentorship and pitch to a jury of tech leaders and investors.
