HACK MSC 2.0 National Hackathon ( 30 Hours ): Stages and Timelines
Inaugration Ceremony
All the Participants are expected to arrive at the Venue ( SRM University AP ) at 11AM, 1st November. Inaugration Ceremony will take place and Participants will be briefed about the Hackathon, the Community and the Problem Statement.
Hackathon Commencement
The Participants are escorted to the respected Venues after Lunch and the Hackathon goes live. Breaks for Snacks and dinner will be provided with special Teams to handle Participants with Comfort and Hospitality.
Fun Activity
Post Lunch, the Participants will be given free interest to participate in Fun Activity ( Movie Screening, Debating Sessions, etc ). They can chose to attend or continue with the Hackathon.
Bedtime / Hackathon
Participants will be given an Air Conditioned spacious Auditorium to take Sleep for the rest of the Night ( Sleeping Bags / Mats to be brought on own unless Rooms not booked on premises ). Securities will be on surveillance to ensure utmost comfort for participants.
Phase 1 Evaluation
Post Breakfast, Phase 1 Evaluation of Projects commences and Teams will be given a certain time limit to present their Projects and explain their Approach towards Smart India
Phase 2 Evaluation
Post Lunch, Phase 2 Evaluation commences for the remaining Teams to Present their Projects and brief their approach towards Smart India
Closing Ceremony
Winners will be announced alongside distribution of Prizes. External Participants will be dispersed to their Buses or Own Vehicles

About the Event:
Hack MSC 2.0 is a 30-hour national-level hackathon organized by the Microsoft Student Community, SRM University AP. This event invites students from across the country to develop creative, technology-driven solutions for a smarter and more sustainable India. Participants will work on real-world challenges in domains such as smart healthcare, clean energy, education, urban infrastructure, and more.
The hackathon is open to all students — from first-year beginners to final-year experts — across all branches. Pre-hackathon workshops will be conducted to help participants, especially beginners, get started.

Over the course of 24 hours, participants will collaborate in teams, develop prototypes, and present their solutions to a panel of judges. An additional 5 hours will be allotted for pitching purposes. The event offers opportunities to learn from mentors, network with innovators, and build impactful solutions that can go beyond the hackathon.
Fun Activities like Movie screenings or Debating sessions will take place amidst the Hackathon to excite the participants.

Instructions for SRM University AP Participants:
- Participants residing in Guntur or Vijayawada are requested to commute with their own Transport for external students to have seamless access to facilities.
Instructions for Non-SRM University AP Participants:
- Arrive at SRM University AP campus by 11:00 AM on 1 November 2025.
- Book train/bus tickets to and from only Vijayawada Railway Station.
- We will drop all external participants to Vijayawada Railway Station at 6:00 PM on 2 November 2025.
- Book return tickets for after 8:00 PM on 2 November 2025 to ensure a smooth departure.
- Bring personal sleeping bags or mats if you plan to rest during the hackathon.
- Participants must arrange their own travel to SRM University AP for arrival.
NOTE: Cross University/ College formation is permitted ( No restrictions )
