Guidelines:

• Event Name: Hack the Cosmos
• Organized by: Computer Society of India (CSI SRM-KTR), SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Chapter
• Type: 24-Hour Hackathon
• Mode: Hybrid
• Date: 21^st & 22^nd April, 2025
• Eligibility: PAN INDIA

Description: Hack the Cosmos is a 24-hour hybrid hackathon that invites creative minds to build impactful, future-ready solutions. Whether you’re diving into AI, exploring the metaverse, or building with blockchain, this is your chance to turn ideas into reality. Solve real-world challenges, get mentored, and pitch your innovation to top judges.

Tracks:

Participants must select one of the following tracks during the PPT Selection Round:

• Smart Solution with AI (e.g., AI in Agriculture , Healthcare , Education , Sustainability)
• Blockchain and Web3 (e.g., Decentralized apps, smart contracts, identity verification)
• Automation and Robotics (e.g., Predictive modeling, automation, embedded intelligence)
• Extended Metaverse (e.g., AR/VR experiences, digital twins, virtual events)
• Open Innovation (Can be anything that you feel solves a problem)

Guidelines for the Event:

• Team size must be 1 to 4 members.
• PPT Selection Round: Participants will choose a track before the hackathon starts.
• Participants must carry their own laptops, chargers, and extension cords.
• All code must be written during the hackathon only.
• Projects must be hosted on GitHub with a README.
• Use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) is allowed but should be declared.
• Teams should be present on-site for the full duration of the hackathon.
• Mentorship support will be provided at intervals.

Rules:

• PPT should be submitted before deadline. No exceptions will be made.
• PPT should be made with the template given by CSI SRM-KTR. 
• No plagiarism. All work must be original.
• Pre-built APIs/libraries allowed — must be credited.
• Teams can make only one final submission.
• Be respectful to peers, mentors, and volunteers.
• Any violation of conduct will lead to disqualification.

Total Prize Pool: INR 50,000 worth prizes
