Software/Hardware Track Round 1 - Presentation Submission
Participating teams are welcome to select one problem statement of their choice and prepare a presentation highlighting their proposed solution. The problem statements will be sent to the registered email addresses. These statements will be the following:
- Note: No. of slides in ppt should not exceed 5 pages (maximum 5 slides) .

All that you need to know about Hack4Innovation
Hack4Innovation aims to spark innovation and encourage students to build impactful solutions under Software and Hardware tracks.
Tracks Include:
Software Track:
- Public Places / Transport Crowding Predictor
- Real-Time Signboard Reader for Visually Impaired
- Personal Protection System Against Social Media Scams
Hardware Track:
- Technology of Cultural Heritage
- AI-Based At-Home Healthcare Assistant
- Sports Technology Wearable System
- Play, Learn, Grow Toys – The Indian Way
Organized in collaboration with the student chapters of ISTE, CSI, ISA, and IEEE.
Participants will explore two domains - Software and Hardware - each designed to push the boundaries of traditional tech and drive sustainable, and impactful solutions for real-world challenges.
Event Details:
- Date: 28th-29th March 2025 (Final Hackathon Round)
- Venue: Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology, Hashu Advani Memorial Complex, Collectors Colony, Chembur, Mumbai - 400074
- Eligibility:
Open to students from any year and branch of B.E./B. Tech programs, Technical Diploma colleges, or Management colleges of Mumbai Suburban Region or Nearby Areas.
Software/HardwareTrack:
- Participating teams are free to choose any 1 problem statement and create a presentation showcasing their proposed solution.
- Presentation Submission will take place from 14th Feb - 5th Mar 2026.
- The teams that have been selected have to appear for the final round on 28th -29 th March at VESIT.
Guidelines & Rules:
- Each team can have a maximum of 4 members.
- Code of Conduct:
- Maintain respectful behavior toward all participants, organizers, and staff.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the venue. Misuse of property will lead to disqualification.
- Teams must stay on campus for the full duration of the event.
- Teams cannot change their problem statement after the presentation round.
- Each participant must carry a valid college ID card and Government ID proof.

- Registration fee : 150 per person (Only for Offline round)
Event Timeline:
- 14th Feb: Registration Opens.
- 5th March: Presentation Submission Deadline.
- 20th March: Announcement of shortlisted teams.
- 28th - 29th March: Main hackathon event.
Prizes: 1.5 Lacs
Note : Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements
