Hackathon 2k25

The of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, St. Joseph College of Engineering proudly launches HACKATHON 2K25 – a vibrant club for students who are passionate about coding, innovation, and technology. HACKATHON 2K25 is dedicated to building a community of enthusiastic coders by offering hands-on opportunities, peer learning, and coding challenges. A competitive coding marathon designed to push the boundaries of problem-solving across 10 domains and programming skills. The event will unfold in two exciting rounds:

Round 1: Project Evaluation (Eliminator Round):

Format: Pre-submitted Project Presentation (7 Slide) & Evaluation

• Mode: Offline (on Event Day)
• Purpose: Evaluate depth of work, innovation, and implementation
• Time: 7-10 minutes
• Top 30 teams will qualify for Round 2

Round 2: Feature Integration Challenge:

• Format: On-the-spot feature/problem statement given by organizers
• Task: Integrate the given feature into the existing project
• Mode: Offline

The top 3 teams will be announced as winners

Rules & Guidelines:

• Problem statement for Round 1 will be shared prior to the event date. Participants must build their projects based on this.
• In Round 2, participants must enhance their existing project by integrating the new challenge provided by the organizers.
• Teams must bring their completed projects on the day of the event.
• Each team must consist of 3-4 participants.
• Projects must be original. Plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
• The judges' decision will be final and binding.
• Late entries or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
• Participants are responsible for ensuring their systems are set up and functional before the event begins.
