All that you need to know about HackElite' 25

DNS-Developer Network Space invites students from across the nation to participate in Hack-Elite, a 24-hour hackathon centered on our ethos: Learn, Leap, Lead. This event is designed for students who are passionate about applying their coding and problem-solving skills to address significant real-world problems.Participants will have the opportunity to select from a comprehensive list of 14 problem statements and 1 Open Innovation, each designed to push the boundaries of innovation.

The event will challenge teams to develop, and present a functional prototype within 24 hours.

Key Domains For Problem Statements:
Our problem statements are curated to cover a vast technological landscape, encouraging diverse and impactful solutions.

Key tracks include:

  • Environmental and Sustainability Focus: Emphasises on climate resilience, waste management, circular economy, and e-waste solutions, leveraging AI, small IoT Devices, and data analytics to predict risks, optimize resource recovery, and promote eco-friendly practices.
  • Ethical and Social Good in AI: Responsible AI design, bias mitigation, and societal benefits, such as fair systems for low-resource languages or judicial processes, ensuring transparency and equity.
  • Infrastructure and Resource Optimization: Covers energy access via microgrids, supply chain transparency with blockchain/AI, and data-efficient ML for low-power devices, aiming to enhance efficiency in underserved or constrained settings.
  • Security, Privacy, and Safety Enhancements: Focuses on privacy-preserving systems, secure data handling, and failure analysis for critical technologies like drones, using encryption and AI to protect users and improve reliability.
  • Automation and Emerging Tech Applications: Includes affordable robotics for low-resource environments, AR-based repair tools, and AI for humanitarian efforts like missing persons detection, boosting productivity and accessibility.
  • Education and Specialized Tech Innovations: Encompasses story-based games for teaching computer science and physical solutions for e-waste, highlighting interactive learning and practical designs to address educational gaps and environmental urgency.

There are a total of 15 problem statements with 14 predefined problems to solve and 1 Open Innovation where you can choose any real world problem.

Note: Problem Statements Are Given Below In Attachment Section.

Rounds:

Round 1 – PPT / Idea Submission
Participants are required to submit a detailed presentation (PPT) or document outlining their concept, problem statement, and proposed solution. The submission should clearly explain the innovation, approach, and potential impact of the idea. Shortlisted teams will move to the next round based on creativity, feasibility, and relevance to the problem statement.

Round 2 – Prototype Development
Selected teams will create a working prototype or proof of concept of their proposed solution. This round will assess the technical implementation, functionality, and practicality of the proposed solution.Teams will need to demonstrate how their prototype addresses the problem effectively.

Round 3 – 24-Hour Hackathon
Finalists will participate in an on-site 24-hour coding marathon, where they will build, refine, and present their complete solution. Teams will showcase their product to the judges, followed by a live demo and presentation. Evaluation will focus on innovation, execution, scalability, and overall impact.

Rewards & Recognition:
A chance to compete for an exciting prize pool (to be announced).
A Certificate of Participation will be awarded to all participants who successfully complete the hackathon.
An invaluable opportunity to develop a project for your portfolio and showcase your skills.
