Note:

Overview:

  • HACKINDIA SPARK 6 is a flagship edition of India’s largest national hackathon series, bringing together talented innovators to solve real-world challenges through technology.
  • The event will be hosted at the National Institute of Technology Delhi as part of the Techno-Cultural Fest Sentience 2026.
  • The hackathon is organized in collaboration with Upvision and HackIndia.
  • It provides a collaborative environment where participants can ideate, develop, and scale impactful solutions across diverse technology domains.
  • The event also offers opportunities to network with mentors, developers, and industry professionals.
  • Participants will take part in a competitive two-day offline hackathon after the online screening process.

Event Details:

  • Mode: Hybrid (Online Screening + Offline Finale).
  • Finale Location: NIT Delhi Campus.
  • Finale Dates: 18–19 April 2026.
  • Team Size: 2–4 members.

Tracks / Problem Statements:

  • Gamified Learning Platform
    • Develop an interactive learning system using gamification elements such as rewards, levels, and challenges.
  • Polygon On-Chain Skills Platform
    • Build a blockchain-based solution for secure and verifiable skill credentialing.
  • AI Agents Marketplace
    • Design a platform for discovering, showcasing, and deploying AI agents.
  • Open Innovation Track
    • Participants may propose solutions in any domain or technology.

Selection Process:

Round 1: Online Screening (Submission-Based Evaluation)

  • All registered teams must submit a project presentation (PPT).
  • The presentation must include:
    • Problem statement.
    • Proposed solution.
    • Technology stack.
    • System architecture or workflow.
    • Expected impact and use case.
  • Submission start date: 1 April 2026 (09:00 AM IST).
  • Submission deadline: 5 April 2026 (11:59 PM IST).

Evaluation Criteria (Round 1):

  • Innovation and originality of the idea.
  • Feasibility and technical soundness.
  • Clarity and structure of the presentation.
  • Potential real-world impact.
  • Scalability and future scope.

Round 2: Shortlisting

  • All submissions will be reviewed by the evaluation panel.
  • Shortlisted teams will be notified through official communication channels.
  • Only one submission per team will be considered.
  • Any form of plagiarism or duplication will result in disqualification.

Round 3: Offline Finale

  • Venue: NIT Delhi.
  • Dates: 18–19 April 2026.
  • Shortlisted teams will participate in a two-day offline hackathon where they will:
    • Develop and refine their solutions.
    • Receive guidance from mentors.
    • Present a working prototype to the judging panel.

Final Evaluation Criteria:

  • Innovation and creativity.
  • Technical implementation and complexity.
  • Practical applicability and real-world impact.
  • User experience and design quality.
  • Presentation and demonstration.

Registration Guidelines:

  • All participants must register on Unstop.
  • A team is considered registered only after completing both registrations.

Submission Guidelines:

  • All submissions must be original and created by the participating team.
  • The PPT should clearly explain the problem, solution, technology stack, and implementation plan.
  • A short video demonstrating the idea or prototype may also be included if available.
  • The submission link (Google Form) will be shared separately.

Rules & Regulations:

  • Team size must be between 2 and 4 members.
  • A participant can be part of only one team.
  • All submissions must be completed before the deadline; late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Plagiarism or use of unauthorized third-party work will lead to disqualification.
  • Teams must maintain fair participation and professional conduct throughout the event.
  • Any form of malpractice or misconduct may result in immediate disqualification.
  • The decision of the organizing committee and judges will be final and binding.
  • Participants must carry a valid ID proof during the offline event.
  • Teams must bring their own laptops and necessary devices.
  • Internet and basic infrastructure will be provided at the venue.

About National Institute of Technology (NIT), Delhi

National Institute of Technology Delhi (NITD) is one of the thirty NIT (s) built up in the year 2010 by a demonstration of parliament and has been pronounced as an Institute of National significance.

NIT Delhi is a self-sufficient Institute which works under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It plans to give guidelines and research offices in different controls of Engineering, Science and Technology, Management, Social Sciences and Humanities for advance learning and dispersal of information.

The strategic NIT Delhi is to deliver human asset the individuals who are imaginative, serious and creative with high mind and moral qualities. The Institute is conferring all encompassing instruction, alongside teaching high virtues in its understudies.

NIT Delhi has begun its scholastic meeting in 2010 with three undergrad B.Tech degree programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The scholarly exercises of NIT Delhi were started at NIT Warangal in year 2010 which later moved to a transitory grounds at Dwarka, New Delhi in June 2012 and now as of now running at IAMR Campus, Narela (February 2014).

Ownership of fifty one section of land has been dispensed for changeless grounds of NIT Delhi on NH-1, Narela sub city, New Delhi. The way toward building up the lasting grounds has started.
