- The Ice Age enters its final chapter. After a fierce online migration, the top 150 mammoths have survived the storm and earned their place in the on-site grand finale at Heritage Institute of Technology.
- No teams. No shortcuts. Every participant will compete as a lone wolf, navigating through ruthless algorithmic glaciers where only precision, logic, and speed can keep you alive.
- Fully equipped systems will be provided at the venue, ensuring the battlefield is equal for all contenders — only your coding instincts will decide your fate.
- When the clock starts ticking, it becomes a Scrat-style race against time. Crack the problems, outsmart the hidden test cases, and submit before the final buzzer freezes the leaderboard forever.

Welcome to the Herd!
Brace yourselves for the ultimate freeze! Ice Breaker 5 is an annual flagship event hosted by GDG on Campus HITK, aimed at promoting competitive programming and tech education among students. Under this year's motto, "THINK BEFORE YOU SINK", we are calling all tech enthusiasts to brave the cold and survive the ultimate coding challenge!
Eligibility & Format:
- Who can join: Open to everyone! We are welcoming a massive herd.
- Team Size: Individual Participation Only (Lone Wolves Only – no inter-college or inter-specialization teams are allowed).
- Format: A 2-stage survival challenge featuring an online qualifier and an on-site final showdown.
- Problem Statements: You will face a series of real-time algorithmic problem statements designed to test your coding fundamentals, speed, and accuracy (the exact number of questions will be revealed when the ice cracks!).
Guidelines:
- Survive Solo: This is a strictly individual battle. No team collaboration is allowed during the coding rounds.
- Guard Your Acorn: Any plagiarism, unauthorized code-sharing, or use of external solvers will result in immediate disqualification and extinction from the leaderboard.
- Beat the Glaciers: Time limits are strict. Submit your highly optimized solutions before the timer runs out.
