Hackathon Guidelines & Rules
To ensure a fair and exciting competition, please review the rules and guidelines below.
Eligibility & Team Size
- All participants must use Karbon Sites to build and host their projects.
- Teams can have only one member.
- You must start and complete your project during the hackathon.
Submission Requirements
- Submit your project's final URL (hosted on Vercel via Karbon Sites).
- Provide a link to your project's link
- Submit a short video (under three minutes) demonstrating your project and explaining your idea, its features, and the problem it solves.
Judging Criteria
Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Creativity & Originality (30%): How unique and innovative is your idea? Does it stand out from the crowd?
- Design & User Experience (30%): Is the website visually appealing and intuitive to use? Did you make creative use of Karbon Sites' features like premium themes and image references?
- Functionality & Execution (25%): Does the website work as intended? Is the code clean and well-structured?
- Use of Karbon Sites Features (15%): How effectively did you use the platform's advanced features, such as the full code editor, Sketch to Website, and GitHub imports?
