Logic Sprint: The Ultimate Coding Battle: Stages and Timelines

Basic MCQ Round

This round will consist of basic programming, aptitude, and logical reasoning MCQs designed to test participants' fundamental technical knowledge.

Challenging MCQ Round

This round consists of coding-oriented MCQs designed to test participants on programming logic, output prediction, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

DSA Problem Solving Round

This final round will test participants on coding logic, problem-solving ability, and Data Structures & Algorithms through competitive programming challenges.

Logic Sprint 2026 – Think. Solve. Code. Win.

Logic Sprint 2026 is a competitive DSA Quiz Competition organized by the CSDS Department of Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST). The event is designed to test participants on programming fundamentals, logical reasoning, coding aptitude, and problem-solving skills through multiple exciting rounds.

Participants will compete through MCQ rounds and DSA problem-solving challenges to showcase their analytical thinking and coding abilities.

Competition Format:

Round 1: Basic MCQ Round

  • Fundamental programming and MCQs
  • Focus on logical reasoning and coding basics

Round 2: Challenging MCQ Round

  • Coding-oriented MCQs
  • Questions based on logic building, output prediction, and problem-solving

Round 3: DSA Problem Solving

  • DSA-based problem-solving round
  • Participants will solve coding and logical challenges within the given time limit

Participation Details:

  • Solo participation and team participation both allowed
  • Maximum team size: 2 members
  • Open for OIST and OCT students
  • Only 1st and 2nd year students can participate

Important Rules:

  • Laptop is compulsory for participation
  • Only one device is permitted during the competition
  • Internet facility will be provided during the event, but participants are advised to carry their own internet backup/hotspot
  • Any unfair means or malpractice may lead to disqualification
  • The decision of organizers will be final

  • Date: 16 May 2026
  • Time: 10:00 AM onwards
  • Venue: EC Seminar Hall

  • Registration is FREE
  • Last Date for Registration: 14 May 2026
