Navachar - Code Fest 2025: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: MCQ Challenge
This is the first round of Navachar 2025. It is an online quiz consisting of 30 Multiple Choice Questions designed to test your knowledge of programming fundamentals, logical reasoning, and general aptitude.
- Duration: 30 Minutes
- This round is open to students from all academic years
Round 2: Intermediate Coding Challenge
Welcome to Round 2! This is a 60-minute coding challenge featuring three problems based on data structures and algorithms.
- Duration: 60 Minutes (1 Hour)
- Number of Problems: 3
- This round is exclusively for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students.
- The winner for this round will be selected from 2nd-year participants only.
Round 3: Advanced Coding Challenge
This is the final and most advanced round of Navachar 2025. It features two complex problems focusing on optimized algorithms and dynamic programming.
- Duration: 90 Minutes (1.5 Hours)
- Number of Problems: 2
- This round is exclusively for 3rd and 4th-year students.

Introduction:
- On the occasion of Engineer’s Day (15th September 2025), the Entrepreneurship Cell of Meerut Institute of Technology is organizing Navachar - Code Fest 2025, a competitive coding fest hosted on Unstop.
- The objective of this event is to provide students with a platform to showcase their problem-solving skills, enhance their logical thinking, and compete with the best coding talent in the college.
- Whether you are a beginner or an advanced programmer, Navachar will help you learn, compete, and grow.

- 2nd Year students will end their participation here
- 3rd and 4th Year students qualifying here will move to Round 3
- Round 3 — Hard-Level Coding Challenge
- Date & Time: 15th September 2025
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Format: Two advanced coding problems
- Topics Covered: Optimized algorithms, dynamic programming, and problem-solving under constraints
- Eligibility: Only for 3rd and 4th Year students
Eligibility Criteria:
- Only college students are allowed to participate
- Registration using the official college email ID is mandatory
- Participants must select their correct year of study while registering
- Participants are only allowed to attempt rounds applicable to their year
Rules and Guidelines:
- Each participant must register individually through Unstop
- Multiple registrations from the same participant are strictly prohibited
- Use of AI tools, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or plagiarism is not allowed
- Stable internet connectivity is mandatory during the event
- Any unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification
- The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding
Judging Criteria:
- MCQ Round: Based on the number of correct answers and completion time
- Coding Rounds:
- Code correctness and accuracy
- Time complexity and optimization
- Number of successful test cases passed
- In case of a tie, preference will be given to the participant with the earliest correct submission
