Note: All team members are required to fill out the provided form and join the WhatsApp community (link provided in the form) to be considered for the final round. Failure to do so will lead to the elimination of the team.

Steps for Alpha Testing of Ginger Games:
1. Join the Discord Channel: https://discord.gg/PAs7cT8h
2. Complete the steps mentioned in the #how-to-register channel.
3. You will gain access to the #playtesting channel within 12 hours of completing Step 2.
4. Install the game on your device.
5. Play the game on the 26th, and fill out the feedback form that will be provided on Day 1.
6. Play the game again on the 27th and complete the feedback form provided on Day 2.
7. After you have tested and submitted your feedback for Day 2, we will validate the feedback and issue an Amazon Gift Voucher worth INR 100. This process will take up to 48 hours after testing, as we need to validate the feedback forms and test data.
Rules:
- You must follow us on Discord and adhere to the playtesting norms mentioned.
- Once validated by our team, the vouchers will be emailed to you.
- Reviews should be genuine.

Welcome to Pixel Punk, a retro-futuristic game jam organized by BYTE where developers push the boundaries of creativity, gameplay, and market viability. Set in the neon-soaked world of Neo-Zenith, participants will uncover the legend of Zennith—a visionary lost to the data streams, rumored to be building a digital utopia. Your mission: retrace her steps, build an unforgettable game, and forge a new future where code is rebellion and pixels hold the power of legends. Will you find Zennith, or will her story remain a glitch in history?

- Task: Bring your game to life! Showcase your playable version live in front of the judges.
Event Rules:
- Team Size: Solo or teams (max 6 members)
- Tech Stack: Any platform, any engine — Web-based, Unity, Unreal Engine, AR/VR, even Web3 go wild!
- Game Type: 2D, 3D, single-player, multiplayer — it's your call.
- Theme Alignment: Retro-futurism visuals and storytelling are a must.
Judging Criteria:
- Innovation & Game Mechanics – Unique gameplay twists, strategy, and mechanics
- Visual & Theme Alignment – Retro-futurism aesthetics and immersive world-building
- Engagement & Playability – How fun, intuitive, and addictive your game feels
- Business Strategy & Market Potential – Scalability, monetization, and long-term player retention
- Impact of the Twist – How creatively you adapt to the wildcard twist
Presentation Rules:
- Keep it concise and impactful (10 slides max)
- Showcase your idea, mechanics, tech stack, and theme execution
- Links to prototypes (if any) = Bonus points
- Be ready to explain how your game could stand out in the market
Rules & Guidelines:
- Strict no plagiarism policy — any copied content leads to disqualification
- Ensure your game is playable and stable
- For offline presentations, bring your own device
- The judges' decision is final
