Recursion 7.0: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Idea Submission Round (Online)
- The first round of Recursion 7.0 is an online idea submission round. In this stage, teams must select one technology field (AI/Machine Learning, Web & App Development, or Blockchain) and one application domain (Healthcare, Education, Agriculture, Fintech, Smart City, or Government) for their project.
- Each team must submit: A PPT presentation explaining the problem they are addressing, their proposed solution, and the technology they plan to use. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1BZ9lp0-9xG6zFzN3Mi9jVKySYWMZQISL
- A short video describing the idea and the approach of the team.
- The goal of this round is to evaluate the originality, feasibility, and potential impact of the proposed idea.
- All submissions must be completed before 18th March, 9pm. After the submission deadline, the entries will be reviewed by the judging panel.
Announcement of the Shortlisted Teams
Results of the first round will be announced.
Final 24-Hour Hackathon (Offline Round)
- This round will be a 24-hour offline hackathon held on 23rd–24th March.
- Teams shortlisted from Round 1 will participate in this final stage.
- At the start of the hackathon, problem statements will be revealed on the spot, and teams will have to design and build a working solution within the given time.
- Participants are free to use one of the technologies such as AI/ML, Web/App Development, or Blockchain while developing their solutions which they have chosen in the first round no preference change is allowed.
- Throughout the hackathon, teams will have access to mentorship, high-speed internet, and food.
- At the end of the 24 hours, teams will present their projects to the judging panel, and winners will be selected based on innovation, implementation, and overall impact.

About the Event:
- Recursion 7.0 is a 24-hour hackathon designed for developers, designers, and tech enthusiasts who want to build innovative solutions using modern technologies. This year’s focus is on AI-powered innovation, encouraging participants to integrate Artificial Intelligence into their projects.
- The hackathon will take place in two rounds.
Round 1: Idea Submission (Online):
- The first round is an idea screening round.
- Teams must select one technology field and one application domain for their project.

Important Note:
The Problem Statement for the offline round will be based on the Technology Field chosen by the team
Participants are required to submit:

- A short video describing the concept and approach
The goal of this round is to evaluate the creativity, feasibility, and impact of the idea. AI integration in the solution is strongly encouraged.
- Submission Deadline: 18 March, 9pm.
- Result Announcement: 19 March, 5pm
All submissions will be reviewed by the judging panel, and shortlisted teams will qualify for the offline hackathon round.
Round 2: 24 Hour Offline Hackathon:
- The second round will be a 24-hour offline hackathon held on 23 to 24 March.
- Unlike Round 1, teams will not continue with the same idea or domain submitted earlier. The problem statements will be revealed at the start of the hackathon and will be based on the technology field selected by the team.
- Teams will have 24 hours to design, build, and present a working solution based on the given problem statement.
Participants will be provided with:
- Mentorship from industry professionals
- High speed internet and technical support
- Food and accommodation during the event
At the end of the hackathon, teams will present their solutions to the judges.
Apart from prizes and event swags, exceptional participants may also be considered for paid internship opportunities based on their performance during the hackathon.
Team Note:
- Teams are encouraged to include at least one female member, although it is not mandatory.
