Sankalp 101 is India’s first-ever 24-hour virtual 2D hackathon, hosted on Gather.town – an innovative, interactive virtual platform.

About Opportunity:  This immersive experience removes physical limitations and brings together bright minds from across the country to collaborate, ideate, and build impactful tech solutions in a gamified environment. Participants will embark on a thrilling journey of coding, creativity, and problem-solving like never before!

• Generative AI & LLMs
• Web3 & Blockchain
• ClimateTech & Sustainability
• EdTech & Learning Innovation
• Healthcare Tech & Bioinformatics

Eligibility:

• Open to all undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students.
• Participants from any recognized college/university from all over the world can apply.
• Inter-college team members are allowed.
• Inter-specialization team members are allowed.

Event details:

• Team Composition: Team size: Minimum 2 and maximum 4 members.
• Process & Format:
  • The hackathon will be conducted entirely online on the Gather.town platform.
  • Participants will receive a virtual environment simulating a real hackathon space.
  • Mentors and evaluators will be available throughout the event for guidance and feedback.
  • Participants will be judged based on innovation, usability, technical complexity, and presentation.
• Duration of the Rounds: Single Round: 24 Hours of non-stop hacking and innovation.
• Problem Statements: A set of broad problem statements will be provided under each theme.

Rules:

• Each team must register in advance to receive access to the Gather.town environment.
• All submissions must be made before the 24-hour deadline.
• Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
• Participants must be present in the virtual hackathon space for the duration of the event.
• Any form of misconduct, including inappropriate behavior in the virtual space, will result in disqualification.
• Teams must present a working prototype or demo during the final evaluation.
• Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
