SDG-9 HACKTRIX'25 (National Level Hackathon Event)

The School of Computing, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), in collaboration with the Centre for Research in Environment, Sustainability Advocacy and Climate Change (REACH), is excited to present Hacktrix’25 – An Open Innovation National Level Hackathon under the banner of the International Conclave on Higher Education Institutes’ Challenges & Solutions for Sustainable Development Goals (ICSDG) 2025.

Hacktrix’25 is designed to inspire students to ideate, innovate, and build scalable solutions aligned with SDG 9: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure. Selected students will also get opportunities to work on industry-supported projects.

Venue:

• SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur

Eligibility:

• Open to all disciplines

Team Size:

• 3–5 members

Registration Fee:

• ₹200 per participant

Prize Pool:

• ₹50,000/- + Industry Project Opportunities

Hackathon Phases:

• Phase 1 – Registration & Idea Submission
  10–23 September 2025
  Teams register and submit their PPTs for the first round evaluation.
• Phase 2 – Round 1: The Online Sprint
  26–27September 2025
  Teams work virtually on their ideas during a 2-day online hackathon.
  28 September 2025 – Round 1 results will be announced.
• Phase 3 – Round 2 & 3: On-Campus Grand Finale
  06–07 October 2025 @ SRMIST, Chennai (Venue: Techpark 2 - 702)
  06 October (Forenoon): Inaugural & Mentoring for Round 2
  06 October (Afternoon): Round 2 Hackathon & Result Announcement
  07 October: Final Round – Project Pitch & Demo before jury, followed by Grand Finale, Valedictory & Winner Announcement
